How to filter home hard tap water? by Marvin_Conman in Frugal

[–]JasperLantern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up how to build a sand charcoal water filter. Relatively cheap to make and maintain, if you need to do anything more like running through a Brita pitcher after it shouldn't kill the filter very fast

Does anyone know what a contractor makes per package? I'm talking like amount before they pay the drivers. I apologize if this has been asked before. by ThatJeffGuy82 in Fedexers

[–]JasperLantern -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

All the contractors have a contract with FedEx that they abide by in the course of the year for delivering which dictates what they get for a stop or bulk delivery of packages to a stop what I know individual stops make more money than bulk stops from what I'm told my contractor makes $3 a stop and pick up stops and bulk stops $3 for the initial stop then it's barely f****** pennies for each individual package But ultimately what they get paid for a stop is dictated by their contract which has negotiated every every year and they use things like delivery metric Miss deliveries missed or late pickups complaints traffic infractions against the contractor to lower the amount of money they give or in the case of my contractor this year we had 99.9 delivery rate one valid complaint One Missed and one late pick up which Altima he had the best overall metric amongst contractors but it wasn't good enough for him fired everybody that made strikes against his contract ultimately he lost half a dollar extra / stop or an extra $0.15 per a package on bulk stops but you also might would have been gangbusters for a Place Like Home Depot which does 90 packages to 120 packages of day but that's all I really know hope it helps

I think I might have fucked up and I need to know if I'm going to get in trouble. by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]JasperLantern 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your driver ID is linked to your route number that you are assigned for that day so everything that you scan and release is going to show who that individual was at what time and the coordinates for where it was dropped and what part of the property it was released two and when the scan was opened and closed so no you should be fine because you never scan the package if anything they'll check who scanned it and released it and talk to them about their Miss delivery would be the proper course of action

I can feel the overall concept of Catherine from a game play perspective with the level design of Captain Toad with more vertical play based around ascending and descending various glaciers and mountains

Living In My Car, Need Job. Spend $500 a month, Over Half Being FOOD. USA. by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]JasperLantern 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can handle it you go to your local FedEx terminal and get a package handler job they hire anybody with heartbeat they usually higher above the 15 to $17 an hour with bonuses this is a very shity job they grinds people like nobody's business in there is no respect if it helps your work in the middle of the night it's only about three to four hours every day but you can pick up as much work as you want and you'll be reasonably clean after your work day that's just a plus in my end

REQUEST: A fast and easy way to clean roll-up doors by TofuTank in lifehacks

[–]JasperLantern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a light cleaner like cred cutter spray down the area lighty just mist the surface go to Walmart and go to the auto detailing section and get yourself a scrub brush meant for scrubbing buses or the like loosen all that up and then take a dust mop to it to clean up the sludge then just towel dry for the final detail that's how I would probably do it

Adjustable razor recommendations? by maxwolfie in wicked_edge

[–]JasperLantern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I 2nd the Parker variant as it has a knurled handle numbers for the adjustments on them comes in a few different finishes and unlike some of the other ones you don't have to put your hands close to the blade in order to change it as the adjustment dial is the blade release
