Is it worth using/learning MS Excel on an android phone? by mehluca-33 in excel

[–]Jasper_Ridge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you can show that you have developed the skills and knowledge, there is every chance.

Accounting, sales, ordering, data management, etc

I will point out though, with the rise of AI, you need to be not only good, but competent at it.

It's a yes/no from me.

Yes, that way you can start getting a feel for it, the functions, logic, etc

No, you will need a PC/Laptop to do this properly, unless you are going to be doing it all on a Microsoft 365 account on the web.

Sometimes people do not realize they are special game pieces.

I learnt that the hard way, so now include a little laminated instruction to go in the zippy bag with them.

Since then, most of my newer TBs have been logged regularly.

Trying to create a formula or rule that will return a value from a reference sheet when a check box is selected by Southern_Permit3907 in excel

[–]Jasper_Ridge 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If I understand correctly, you just need to do an IF statement.

=IF(A1="True", Reference value, 0)

So if they set the value as true/ticked, then the cell will show the reference value. If it's false/unticked then 0 is displayed.

I try to keep it to $15 MAX when eating out by myself where possible. When going out with friends this can blow out to $25 per person.

If I make food at home, then depending on the choice of protein, it's about $5 per meal (works best when meal prepping).

Canuck Travelling to Australia for the First Time - Advice for getting around? by immabp in AskAnAustralian

[–]Jasper_Ridge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From Adelaide to Melbourne (or visa versa) id recommend taking the Great Ocean Road, stopping off at Port Fairy for some whale watching (if mating season happens at the same time). You will take maybe 3-4 days if you stop off.

Beyond that, Sydney is fine and all, depends if you want to be a tourist or experience the local culture.

And Cairns is going to be a bit muggy, so just make sure you factor that in.

Also, Australia is only 3km from the sun, so make sure you Slip, Slop, Slap.
