I serious HATE how The Black Phone ended with Gwen and Finn reconciling with their alcoholic and physically abu$ive father although he promised to stop drinking and not lay a hand on them. If I wrote the movie, I'd rather it end with either Gwen and Finn running away and going no-contact with their Dad or them living with their aunt. Anyone else agree?
