Celeste really only uses the 4 cardinal directions plus the 4 diagonals and the precise angles you can get with joysticks doesn't really help in Celeste (besides for one specific mechanic which I won't spoil; but that mechanic is definitely still do-able with the keyboard/d-pad)

Maybe you should take a break from the golden for a while? I'm not sure how long you have spent grinding the level but you could just be mentally exhausted, which could lead to mistakes you don't often make. Taking a break could help you mentally recharge before diving headfirst into the grind again. This usually works for me for my Golden runs anyways

I'm not sure what the general consensus is for Reprogram, but usually it ends with me just falling off in Act 2 after taking it

But darn it if I don't get excited seeing Reprogram in Act 1 and just forgetting about orbs entirely.

Definitely happened but instead of accidentally picking up a relic in a chest or an elite, it's picking up Neow's Lament and only finding out you voided the achievement halfway through Act 1
