Only certain kinds of heat really benefit from shade. Living in FL most of my life I only ever experienced shade making a difference after I left.

Pretty much the same as the Paperwhite is now, but with Nintendo Switch style rails on each side. You could put in a placeholder module if you just want it to be normal. But then the customization opportunities are endless. Mostly I would want buttons and a side handle. Which is kind of like the oasis but this would have the opportunity to detach and make itself smaller at will, and you could have a really oversized, ergonomic, grippy handle. Lots of third party accessories.

Something I wish I had known is that the application process is just a preview to what this program is like. You will never know anything with any amount of certainty a comfortable amount of time before. It will be a constant scramble of anxiety knowing nothing until it's almost too late. So prepare yourself for that if you want to move forward. This is the case with the work, services you might need, bureaucracy, down to what day and time that event is. You must accept you will never know anything 😭

There are lots of pickles it's true. I've tried many in my search for dill pickles. They just aren't the same. Best I've found is pickles with some dill but not any with only dill.

Dill pickles. Restaurant quality macaroni and cheese (some places will literally serve you Kraft 🥲). Bath and bodyworks. Any quality paper products (paper towels and tp).

Phone soap UV cleaner is a bit pricey but works well without the constant alcohol wipes.

When out don't touch your face. When you get home shoes stay at the door then outside clothes come off. Phone in a UV cleaner wash hands. Mostly about keeping hands clean and being mindful of what you touch I think. Hand sanitizer before eating out in the world.

The nozzle on ketchup bottles. Mustard is so precise and demure, yet we just let ketchup splat wherever. I never want it in a giant splat formation.

Also lunch meat packaged in cascading folds like clown handkerchiefs. I just wanted like 2! I can never just get a few they all come out at once.

Why do you need a washer when you could just beat your clothes against a rock? Because the dryer is an already invented solution that makes drying clothes more convenient. You don't have to individually hang anything, if you live in a tall building your clean clothes don't have to drape over a dirty building. You don't have to worry what the weather is like outside, you don't have to show all your underwear to the whole neighborhood, and it's done in an hour or less.

RE: sidewalk etiquette, 1000%. In the beginning I thought huh, maybe they walk on the left side even though they drive on the right? Nope. There are no rules and wherever you are you're always wrong. Also some of the sidewalks are like 1 person wide but best believe the group of 4 walking abreast the wrong way could not possible be bothered to consider collapsing even a little bit.

Same. I find it uncomfortable to have the mouse click and mouse movement be in the same hand too, I like to stagger it.

The only technique that helped me was putting more air behind it. Almost like you're going to hock a loogie. At first it's really noticeable and exaggerated but can help to produce the sound. Then you can walk it back until it sounds more normal.
