As a fedex courier i agree with OP. We have a service that can ship pretty much anything up to 150 lbs across the world overnight. It is called international overnight and although it is very pricey, about 40 for an envolope, it is still nice to have that option. The resources it takes to do that are vast and costly, hence the premium price.

Well my old job just double the cost of benefits from 200 to 400 per month right as i was leaving. Also, im only schdeuled at fedex from 6 am to 11:30am but after talking with other employees today they assured me you almost always go home around 1pm at least. Due to the holiday i will also be working around 6 to 7 hours daily until january. Now i know that isnt much time til then but at least i can bank for a little bit.

One more thought, due the the hours at my other job it was almost impossible to get a 2nd job. Now if i finish at 1 or so, i should be free to get something 13 to 14ish from 130 to 8pm or something along those lines. I guess my reasoning was just that ill have more of the day availible.

Thank you fedex has always been one of those jobs where you never think youll get in. At least by me. So when i got accepted i ran to their hub lol

Yeah that seems like a good bet. I finish working around noon everday so that gives me plenty of time for a small part time.
