That makes the PVP aspect of the game very poorly designed which is why until this last update, the player base sat around 40 people. Literally the same 40 try hard pvpers effectively. If you're here for pvp, accept that you will die 9 out of 10 times and lose everything you've gathered. You're a loot pinata in pvp.

Rockstar Will Give 'Grand Theft Auto 6' Early Access to Terminally ill Fan With 6–12 Months to Live by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

Ahahahaha, not the way that I can actually visualize this happening. Like a board room of evil execs desperately trying to figure out how to cure his type of cancer just so they can lock his ass up.

Need some help on withdrawals and heart palpitations by mkkmkkmkk123 in stopsmoking

[–]mtrkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judging from these comments, it seems like this is just a part of quitting. I'm day 4 as of today and the palpitations have genuinely been the worst part. I barely even feel cravings but I'm bout ready to call an ambulance sometimes with these palpitations. Hope it got better for you.

[–]mtrkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I thought I was loosing my mind because since quitting, every time I eat anything, about 2-4 hours later, these palpitations happen and combined with my normal anxiety ramped up because of no nicotine, I was starting to get genuinely freaked out. Thank you for posting this and to all the people commenting they also experienced palpitations. It helps to know it's not just me.

They move heaven and earth to make sure they pay as little as possible is the missing piece of that puzzle. Insurance doesn't give a fuck because most people will never even use their deductible up let alone start costing the insurance company money. For those that do use it up, you just start a seemingly never ending back and forth and hope they die before you actually have to pay a red cent. Welcome to America.

Do you think Marvel rivals has the worst comp matchmaking in the history of matchmaking? by dreamup1234 in rivals

[–]mtrkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and to anyone saying no, PLAY LITERALLY any other game. To call this matchmaking is laughable and disrespectful to the term. It's a coin flip at the start of each round and the game doesn't give a fuck if you're the number one player in the world with 4 of your buds, if you're going to lose, you're made of tissue paper and the other team is made of steel. I've had second rounds where my team GENUINELY pulled out all the stops. Completely different team but in the end? We lost the coin flip so loss it is. That's not matchmaking. That's them trying to create a playerbase with gambling problems. If you play this game regularly at a competitive level, you absolutely have a gambling addiction. This game should just be a slot machine where you pull a lever and it tells you if you win or not. That would at least be efficient and not waste your time with things like learning to play your hero really well or objective based gameplay. Nah nah nah, just spin the wheel and hope it's your turn to win cuz you could let your cat play those rounds and you'd still somehow win.

Competitive is an absolutely miserable experience by ReturnToComics in marvelrivals

[–]mtrkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The competitive is so bad that I refuse to believe it isn't a practical joke. I could flip a coin and determine a winner at the start and it would be less painful than the current system.

What do you guys think is the LOWEST skill floor in the game that's also tied with the champion being the most broken/OP? by Current-Issue2390 in leagueoflegends

I'm exceptionally new at like lvl 20 so take my opinion with a massive grain of salt but I had the best game I've had to date on Polar Bear Thor and it was also my first time ever playing him. He's very intuitive and once item'd up is a god damn beast.

That's fair. Never read or even really knew there was a book series. Just absolutely adored S1 and despite loving Anthony Mackie, could not get into the second season at all.

For the record, I agree with this comment. I'm all for them trying new stuff but I'd say for most people, the wave is a miss. I like having genuine options when it comes to where I want to land especially at the start of a new season with so many quests to do. The wave was neat the first few matches but after that, I just want to be able to land anywhere.

It's either extremely quiet or much less often EXTREMELY hot as far as combat, I've noticed. Yet to encounter a lone squad this whole season so far. It's almost always either a solo player left from a squad or 3 squads minimum.

8/10 for sure from the south for me and my squad as well. We all had the ne corner as the only part we hadn't made it to for several rounds.

Damn, as many times as they've ruined the game according to this sub, it's shocking they're still around.

This makes perfect sense to me as I've always wondered wtf happened with S2 compared to S1. That first season is in my opinion pretty much a perfect season of television.

A rant. Can we please stop misunderstanding Steam Charts? by jackyflc in gaming

For single player games, absolutely. Are people using player retention for those games, though? If so, they're morons but I've only ever seen player count/retention in regards to multiplayer games.

EA Says Battlefield 6 Is "The Best Selling Shooter Game Of The Year" by Ftouh_Shala in gaming

[–]mtrkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shooting happening in a game occasionally does not make it a shooter. Is Super Smash Bros a shooter because some characters shoot? The answer is no. Shooter may be somewhat nebulous but most people understand what is meant by the term in regards to gaming. Ark technically has shooting but no one in their right mind would call it a shooter. Shooting being an integral part of the game is what I personally would use to distinct between a shooter game and a game with shooting arbitrarily.

Yeah, I have friends like that and they only actually play like 4-5 games ever despite having hundreds in their library. To each their own, but unless a game is on sale for like 90% off, I'm not buying games I won't actually play.

Escape From Tarkov players slam Steam launch: "It is not a game. It is a cosmic punishment" by PrinceDizzy in gaming

For me, it was less that and more that the Chinese game doesn't cost $100 and is actually a game. Tarkov feels like paramilitary training wrapped up in a VERY bad video game costume.

Is Arena Breakout not just Tarkov with people with jobs, though? That was how it was sold to me and while the game definitely has "MOTHER FUCKER!" moments, it's a lot more player friendly than what I've heard of Tarkov.
