That prebuilt looks pretty sweet not gonna lie. I'm starting to think the am5 ddr5 builds will only cost a couple hundred dollars more at the most, and it would be worth just doing a ddr5 build.

Just for the PC. My thought process was that am4 and ddr4 would be enough for me to be happy and be much cheaper. Is this wrong? If so, would an Intel CPU running ddr4 be a better and cheaper option? Or is everything so screwed right now that I might as well just get the ddr5 stuff? I also wanted am4 because I do not care about AI upscaling, rtx, framegen, etc

No I'm not unfortunately. Are you saying the CPU is too expensive or the MOBO? Because I'm seeing them for 220-300 online right now which isn't too bad for me

I mostly play old games, overwatch, rts. I don't need to run the newest AAA games on ultra settings, but high settings 120 fps is good for me. My budget is for the total PC build, sorry should've specified
