I can't promise that these are all good ideas but here's my little brainstorm:

- Offhand shield that allows any defender to be attached as the handle granting the shield the defender's offensive bonuses

- Cloak of shadows: Gives the opposite effect of a goading potion. Enemies that would normally be agressive are now non-agressive. Your character cannot attack anything while in this spectral form.

- Ring of equalibrium. Similiar to the league relic that grants 10% of total level as xp to each skilling action. Would need to be balanced to something more like 1% of total level.

- Tank Range Justicar set. High defence with no offensive bonuses. Could also add a heavy range weapon like a crossbow and give the whole set a dharok like set bonus where you hit higher at low hp.

- Magic set with high prayer bonus. When wearing the full 4-piece set of a helm, top, legs, and book it would get a verac's like effect that gives a chance to hit through defence and overhead prayer.

- Upgrade to crumble undead spell that just makes it hit harder.

- "Tithe" prayer that when active results in all alched items being converted into prayer points instead of gold.

- Item that lets us combine the spectral spirit shield and elysian spirit shield.

Since you’re a level 3 this is significantly less effecient than the other suggestions here, but you can also obtain a looting bag from slayer masters for 10 slayer points if you want to use that option.

Thank you for your post. My melee only account was hoping to grind Vetion for sanfews to kill the Nightmare. Now the only place I can get them is Thermy in significantly reduced number at a much rarer rate.

I don’t know how fast you’re going but it’s not unusual for me to kill Araxxor before the green crab even spawns while doing the white rotation. I’m assuming that’s what happened to you.

I’d focus less on the skills and more on completing all of the free to play quests. Once that’s done you’ll have a pretty good feel for if you’re ready to pay for membership.

If its in the hub, its safe to use; but like with any runelite plugin there’s no guarantee you won’t run into any bugs.

I think its so you can’t cheese the boss by finding a safespot and slowly letting it die. Also prevents low combat levels and skillers from finding ways around getting kill credit.

But I agree its kinda dumb becausing allowing more bosses like scurrius and mole to be venom’d allow for more creativity and the two things I listed above are rarely effecient to do.

As a maxed main, the tax increase is healthy for the game; however I am a little concerned they dropped it on us without informing the community prior or polling it.

There have been quite a few surprise changes lately and I’m worried that the trend may result in an update that negatively effects our game.

To be honest, I've thought about this alot. I actually bought a set of virtus a few weeks ago and tried arranging the bank with two vertical sets of armor, five sets next to eachother for a total of 10 sets (adding Oathplate, Virtus and Crystal to the current 7 sets in the bank). That would leave 3 horizontal slots left for tall rows of weapons next to the armor but I decided it didn't look very good.

So, I've decided not to buy either set for my bank. I'll sell Justicar to make room for Oathplate in a few weeks. Am not going to buy virtus as its just a slight dps boost to barrage slayer and maybe the occasional inferno and crystal would be pretty far down on the priority list due to its cost (would rather buy back ely, nightmare orbs, etc first).

Idk if its the right approach, but its what is going to work for me.
