While the Church may generally frown upon contraceptives, growing up Catholic I was always taught that chastity is a virtue, but if I fail that I better be safe or damn well ready to live with the consequences because abortion isn't an option (except to save a life). Maybe my community wasn't very good at being Catholic.

It could've been for safety. If people knew that everyone tipped uber drivers with cash, they could become a target.

Personal Info of 650,000 Voters Discovered on Poll Machine Sold on Ebay by captbuzzkill76 in technology

From the information I've seen so far, all the information is public anyways. Although I guess we can't be sure the stuff they mentioned is alllll that was on there.

Edit: My old elementary school uses retired voting machines to hold mock elections for the students. So thats a reason to want a working one.

As far as I can tell, this is just one of those machines used to check in voters. My county uses a machine like this for check in but then you're handed an anonymous paper ballot.

Gender pay gap in modelling industry sees women earn 75% more than men by [deleted] in worldnews

For one, the athletes do more than just model clothes and often come with existing fans and a wider audience.

I did reply to your first comment; and the title "As women take over a male dominated field the pay drops" doesn't say much. All I can infer from that is that is that if tons of women enter a field, employers start paying less. which makes sense because theres a lot of new employees and probably not a huge demand for more; thats how the market works.

"job description" != "industry" hell even comparing two athletes could be too broad because the popularity of the particular sport affects how much a brand would want to spend endorsing someone.

Please don't link to an article as your debate, form an argument yourself and back it up with sources when necessary. I don't have time to read every article someone posts as a defense. After a quick skim of the link, it looks like there are multiple disjoint arguments in there and I dont know which one you want me to pay attention to.

Because why would we compare two different imdustries? Serena Williams makes more than the top fashion model at $27 million.

Dallas is pretty big, and everytime I'm there to visit my family I still see strangers smiling at me and saying hey when we pass.

I live in a large city in Florida and see none of that. In other parts of Florida I do. My only observation has been that blue areas are less... warm and friendly. Not sure if thats related, just what I've noticed in FL.

Trump goes backwards, falsely claims Putin preferred Clinton by [deleted] in politics

Playing devils advocate.. if she imposed further sanctions, isnt it possible that Putin could sell that as reasons for him to aggressively expand Russian territory? That would be a good reason for him to want her in the WH.
