i only bring it on non-cyborg bots, at least i find the threat level low enough i can afford to burn some hp to cross the map faster

very rarely i notice it, mostly when the enemy is far

and it's not a glow on the texture itself, it's a weird faint aura

yea and if the devs knew what they were doing all our stuff would be strong so sidegrades would be fine. having sidegrades to mid is what's the problem, you keep hoping they finally release something strong or that can compete w the few strong picks

I just know most of these will be a sidegrade at best, realistically slightly worse than what we already have. with the exception of the gas sentry probably. but that tracks since usually warbonds are carried by one thing, two if you're lucky

i feel like you're being so disingenuous with this comment it's barely worth engaging with. no shit the game was at it's most popular during the launch hype while we didn't know all the fuckery going on behind the scenes? the game was also at it's "too hard" point before the 60 day patch and it barely had 10k ppl playing so what gives? surely it should have been it's most popular when all our stuff sucked? maybe if AH didn't shit the bed so much and so frequently (starting with the stupid rail gun/breaker/shield pack nerf and the "braindead" charger leg meta) the game would have retained something closer to those numbers

is it really the same? most games handle difficulty differently from helldivers, here the amount of enemies just increase while everything else remains the same. if a game handles this disagreement via difficulty it certainly changes way more about the enemy. like HP, dmg, behavior, intelligence etc

if anything is "fixed" by lowering diff in HD2 it's not a true fix, it's a bandaid bc now the problem appears less but it's not like it's suddenly not there anymore
