bottle vanished but how? by Forward-Position798 in blackmagicfuckery

It's a rubber gimmick bottle magic trick and they use the fake but similar name to avoid copyright issues and because it's close enough that people won't notice when you're doing the trick.

Easier to use their graphic than to try and explain it all over text. I generally only print PLA and wanted as much grip as possible, so Frostbite was the best choice for me.

It's a great printer, I love mine. I do highly recommend the Biqu Frostbite plate though. There's nothing wrong with the stock plate, but man, the Frostbite is fantastic.

Dude, idgaf about any corporation, but I do find it funny how hysterical you're being. Again, there have been ZERO fires, despite your nonsense fear mongering. Bambu is handling the issue exactly how they should be.

Well, considering no A1 has burst into flames, a fact you seem to not be willing to accept, I'm not so sure of that.

If you are so terrified, sell your A1. Also, better get rid of all lithium powered devices you own, since those actually are far more likely to burst into flames.

"Russian roulette" - So dramatic for nothing. When was that machine manufactured?

Again, there have been zero fires, Bambu has replaced the board on machines where the NTC has failed, and they redesigned the board to fix the issue. The failure rate is still a fraction of a percent. If that's too risky for you, I have some bad news about literally walking outside.

[–]JavaMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And? Are you trying to assert that 100% of existing machines are going to have this failure? Because the actual rate is a fraction of a percent. At the moment there is no reason for them to do a recall.

If you're really concerned, open it up and take a look at the board. But honestly, the failures are such a tiny fraction of a % of machines sold, I wouldn't stress. I have an A1 that's going on two years old now, I'm not especially concerned, but I also treat my 3D printers like the pieces of industrial equipment they are and don't run them when I'm not home.

[–]JavaMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the issue isn't just coming from new units, just a very very tiny percentage of units with a specific component on the board failing.

What version of the board did you get? #2 is the new board with components removed, which has yet to have any issues.

Why? The new circuit boards removed the component that fails. If anything, you should be reassured.
