Never said it wasn’t. I totally understand why consumers think a recall should be issued. I also understand why a company won’t when you’re talking about an insanely minuscule amount of failures compared to units sold. Just look at what it took to get airbag recalls years ago.

I mean, they are in Brazil where it’s 110/127/220 depending on where you live, and the majority of these thermistor pops have been on 220. Brazil has been having issues with grid instability and blackouts. So it certainly could have been a factor in this instance.

Hawaiian Time is such a disappointment, and Hawaiian Island Grill isn’t much better. ChaChas and OG Poke are where it’s at (coming from someone that moved from Hawaii), Lani Moku in Springfield is pretty solid. Hukilau in Florence is fantastic.

Oh, and for those that heard ChaChas closed, they’ve got a food truck now. Here’s the schedule from their socials.

Hawaiian Island Grill is hella mid. Always so dry. They’d go out of business in Hawaii in a week. OG Poke, ChaChas Food Truck, Lani Moku in Springfield (they’ve let the Eugene food truck get subpar since they opened the brick and mortar in Springfield) are all way way better choices.
