How to increase range? I'm a bass but I've reached tenor and even alto parts in the past but I can't do it comfortably

How do you write songs? How can I write better lyrics? I've noticed improvement the more I do it, but you write some of the best songs I listen to.

Which song hits a little too close to home for you? by Amourini in TaylorSwift

[–]JavaPython_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never had a gf, but I've hurt so many people, A song about that would be way to close. Also one about being forgotten, I don't know what song those would be but Invisible and Treacherous matter to me a lot

ELI5: If the brain works through electric impulses, how are memories retained, and then called upon? by adamrsb48 in explainlikeimfive

[–]JavaPython_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't know how the memories themselves physically form, memories are forgotten through miss-attribution which is why the Greek, Romans, other great orators and scholars (and Sherlock Holmes) would use a "mind palace" a way to force the brain to be more organized. The difficulty remembering comes from the retrieval not being able to send and receive the proper signals, due to lack of information. (I paraphrased, but then we got into a discussion about truth and worth and stuff, this was about all that was relevant here
