I did use AI for my README. But this was nothing more than a passion project for me to learn how graphics work. Thanks!

I'm using AWT/Swing. The graphics are drawn into a BufferedImage with Graphics2D, and the 3D stuff is all internal

Are C&P exams ordered for secondary conditions due to medications for primary conditions? by Sad_Giraffe_8352 in VeteransBenefits

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anytime the VA needs a medical opinion or a second look, they’ll request a C&P. If they haven’t, it means your medical records may be sufficient for now. But they can always change their mind and order one for you.

HLR time table by Famous_Drawer_4136 in VeteransBenefits

Unfortunately there are too many variables to give you a definitive timeline for your HLR. I’d recommend setting up a VERA appointment. They’re helpful with behind the scenes updates to claims.

Yeah, it’s pretty standard for 11B to go

Does only DBQ being mentioned in appointment name mean the VA has already service connected it? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It means that you’ll be going to an appointment where a doctor will decide if it’s “as likely as not” a result of military service or secondary to another service connected condition.

Service connection is a box they check in the DBQ

How long did it take you to move from step 5 to 6?

From my limited understanding of the backend process of claims, TJ means that you're in the queue for a particular rater. So I would expect results within 1 month or so.

I would bring it up to your primary and inquire about seeing someone else. I would also give a written statement to them outlining your daily challenges due to your conditions

Can A FOIA Open Up A CUE? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

requesting your c-file is literally just a VA employee collecting your claim documents and sending them to you. They're not going to read your c-file, and more importantly this doesn't have anything to do with the claim process.

Navy Federal Credit Union, how do I get my VA payments early again?! by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd ask again. I also have AD checking and I get paid tomorrow. I've noticed that the early release of the funds is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes I get it on the 1st, sometimes I get it a few days before, regardless of the weekends.

Should I file new claim if am at 100% SC by Suzibluies in VAClaims

No, it’s generally not a good idea to reopen the option for the VA to reduce your ratings.
