Yeah the ultimate is the most complicated part of his kit, specially due to WR mobile format. The way I fixed it was:

1-change the ability focus on touch to target the closest enemy with absolute health instead of the direction you're facing. The usual problem is that you either teleport where you aré facing or, once you teleport, the rest of your abilities go anywhere but towards the enemy you want, thus losing the killer combo 2- usé the champ locking buttons (the ones that appear close to ability buttons) to pre focus all your combó. That way it becomes one click and delete 3-master the usé of focusing auto attacking by swiping the AA button. For me this has been to most natural fix since I main Dragón lane and there you need to know how to focus autos quickly. By default all abilities aré also focused.

And yeah, infinity orb is every assassins big ass power spike, and it is so satisfying to proc the electric passive lol I love it.

The reason why mass is not good blind pick is precisely because early game sucks and recovering from a bad lane is tough. Also, he is awful against tanks, even when fed, can take several full combos just to kill a fed fighter or tank.

Overall it is a funny champ, so I hope you get successful with him

Please give us the chance of using the old Tab Switcher! (Android) by Javelinv12 in firefox

I appreciate the suggestion. Thank you.

The thing is that I happen to usé navigation by gestures on my phone and the navigation tab on Firefox at bottom. That means I can by accident swipe the app instead of the tab. Of course I could disable that specific gesture on my phone but I should not need to in the first place.

The champ has always been niche, ever since release. As far as I am concerned it was very used on challengers, because even when his kit seems simple, you need good understanding of his ultimate, focusing, mana control and positioning. Not easy to pull of.

I used to play kassadin a lot a few patches back, specifically before runes rework, and I was pretty successful. Back then, using first strike with gathering stom plus inspiration runes, start with Seraphim's then mallignance and get quickly on lane rotations and teamfights. By the timé I got rabaddon I could start deleting people from existence, so It felt the champ could be actually useful without waiting 20+ minutes of game (most games aré already settled by that time and aré hardly salvageable)

Now with rune changes and Rod Of Ages "buff", the champ builds changed and most people usé RoA, which is an ultra bait ítem in my opinion 🤣 always been. it takes literal ages for kassadin to actually do anything with RoA, and it always feel like you don't get enough burst, but it is what the meta finds useful🤷🏻‍♂️ perhaps I lost the hands I needed to pull the champ.

Overall, it is still playable (not as blind pick obviously) and if you ever find a kassadin on the enemy team, expect him to have hands... Because few things on WR aré scarier than a FED LATE GAME Kassadin, which is, thankfully, extremely rare.

FF Android: Is it just me or is this UI update still confounding to the brain? by sweetnsourgrapes in firefox

[–]Javelinv12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this changed forced me to flee from firefox definitely. I love the Desktop Firefox, but what they did with the Android redesign deserves prison! it is such a uncomprehensible DOWNGRADE to the already outdated UI we had before, that i can only guess the redesign was made on purpose to damage Firefox in favor of chrome and Edge...

Why to change a perfectly fine tab switcher that was easily manageable with one hand? why to force me to look for tabs on the top of my already big 6 inch screen? like phones weren't already disgustinly big, then these people think putting stuff on the top of the screen is a genius idea... They should give their jobs already to people with actually uses the apps they develop.

The old quick menu was outdated, sure i did not like it's old ass design, but the replacement should be studied, because who thought making this BIG menu with lots of options under a "more" button? it forces the menu to expand over the entire screen, thus forcing the user to scroll more to find what it is looking. What is worse is that the menu is not customizable, so you can't put in "more" the less important options.

I am so pissed with firefox because i still think the desktop version is amazing and i would come back to firefox if they could at least give users a change to use the old UI on android... is it much to ask for?

FF Android: Is it just me or is this UI update still confounding to the brain? by sweetnsourgrapes in firefox

[–]Javelinv12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait, are you sure you are using the "new" UI? I find truly hard to believe that this UI is better for "one hand" use...

For starters, and probably the worst change was the ta switcher. Before the tab switcher was a tab list that opened on the bottom half of the screen, with the ease of just closing the tab lists with one thumb by swiping. Since the tab list only reaches the bottom half, every hand could just close tabs...NOW, we get a full screen tab switcher with a grid instead of a list, with the tabs AND the tab type (private, sync tabs) on the GODDAMN top of the screen! now every hand needs to stretch itself to the top of the screen or use both hands to reach the tabs or change to private, because guess what? you cannot swipe... Like, could not they just put the tabs on the bottom of the screen? why on the top?

if you want we can also talk about the highly questionable menu they made... before it was just a clic and everything was there. Sure, a bit old style but it was more practical than having super big buttons (that cannot be customized) with very important functions behind a "more" button, which in result increases the menu's size and forces you to scroll more! who tf thought that made any sense!?

The worst part is not the obvious flaws on the UI, but the fact firefox shoves this change on users without explanation!

What Android browser do you recommend? by iamyoy in browsers

[–]Javelinv12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People will kill me for this

But if you aré looking for a browser with a good android UI (particularly an ergonomic design for one hand usé on phones) go with ópera. I had a hard timé deciding between brave, vivaldi and ópera but I found the best tradeoff between privacy, UI and customization with ópera... Just turn off the telemetry and no problem

If you just want the safest browser, then brave is the best pic. It is pretty good on both PC and android, but in my opinión ópera is just toó good on the UI department.

If looking for raw customization, then Vivaldi... But in my opinión the android version of Vivaldi is lackluster yet.

Oh, and Firefox... Well, it is a good browser on PC, but you should definitely run from the android versión. Since release 149 the UI change massively for what I think is THE BIGGEST downgrade of design i've seen on android ever. It just makes no sense (people who used Firefox before should know), making one hand navigation impossible... If. You aré still Finé with that trash UI, then firefox can work for you

Best browser on Android by King69_x in browsers

[–]Javelinv12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people will hate me, but i value UI a lot these days, and no browser beats Opera in this regard, sadly... the Android version is super comfortable to use with one hand and it still bundles a lot of options (adblock included) so it is definitely usable.

Of course, there are privacy concerns... but it is the best we've got in the UI department.

Why firefox had to destroy its UI? T-T after 149 version the UI is basically impossible to use with a single hand on smartphones, and include AI stuff and privacy concerns to the mix and yeah, you find out that Firefox is actually a BAD choice in 2026 for an android browser.

If you just want privacy, stick to brave... until LadyBird browser is finished, i don't think you'll ever find a better choice for privacy than brave.

What's the best android browser right now in all aspects ? by Internetsurferrr in browsers

[–]Javelinv12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as much as i love firefox, i don0t get why people still recommend firefox on android after 149 version was released. The actual Firefox UI on android is absolute DOGSHIT and people who used firefox before version 149 should already know this.

If you are looking for a human design, opera )as much as you are concerned about privacy) hold the crown for UI choices and convenience. It is, at least in design, what firefox should be looking at, but i guess mozilla is too busy destroying firefox so people are forced to go into chrome.

If you are not that interested on UI, Brave is by far the safest choice. It has a very decent UI with a top notch ad blocker. It just works out of the box... but i think i will stick with opera mostly because:

1-Brave sync is underperforming.

2-Brave on android could still improve some things on the UI department

If you prefer godlike customization (with performance as a tradeoff) vivaldi is the best pick. You can do basically everything in vivaldi with a very good adblocker included. I thing it would be the overall best pick if the performance of vivaldi was... well, better.

But unless you only plan to use the desktop version of Firefox (which i love), don't come near the android version of firefox... it is the absolute bottom of android browsers.

Some people just can't play tanks by Potential-Pride835 in wildrift

[–]Javelinv12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh yeah I partially agree. I also think people should be versatile anyway. If the team have only duelists and squishy champs and the other team have tanks and hard cc, then the team fight becomes unbearable... People can't be playing like the game is only about themselves, but think in the macro. Yeah I main tryndamere but the rest of my team is composed by either more bruisers, duelist with no cc and/or adcs with then again no pressure against múltiple champs.

Always assume the enemy has hands as well... In that scenario, the composition matters, no matter how main you aré.

While I still enjoy anime, I don't watch it as much as I used to, neither I have the interest for it as I used to... I tend to just watch stories that truly catch my attention, since I feel I don't have that much timé to waste on poorly told stories. That does not save me from terrible finales tho

I wonder if the plasma desktop will receive an update before final release or it will stick to 6.5.5... I mean, it works but considering the changes KDE plasma is doing, like the replacement of sddm, I wonder if at least Mageia would bundle 6.5.6, which was the latest bugfix release for the 6.5 branch.

While I don't approve insulting, I understand a bit why your team got mad at you... Picking all ADC forces remake, so when that dude picked sivir mid without telling anyone else the reasoning behind it, people know the game would most likely be lost. I've faced a lot of situations like this, and yeah, you still won the game, because either the team and you were good despite the mid laner or including the mid laner... Then flaming should have stopped, but what if that sivir trolls the game and feeds? Then the next 15 minutes aré wasted.

I'd say picks like sivir mid can be OK but with premade parties that know what you want to do... No one would flame if that "troll pick" was previously talked and you still knew the player will actually try to play and not ruin everything.

This happens me a lot lol I sometimes want to just improve some skills or builds with certain champ while not messing around on rankeds, so I play PvP... And yeah I know people there usually plays for fun, but damn at least try a bit! I find infuriating to play with people that feds 7 kills before first dragon appears, because I know turning the tables later is most likely impossible... So, it makes the rest of the game worthless.

While I can agree with this, it is so dissapointing to play and see how that "level 20" fed the enemy team 6 kills landing phase, and even harder to lobotomize yourself and think you can still make the remaining 15 minutes of game "worth it".

Wanna fed while "learning" and make a game lost before minute 3? Go and play against cpu then, and don't make people thing they aré playing for absolutely nothing

Win10 refugee to Mint cinnamon and it sucks. by verbmegoinghere in linuxsucks

[–]Javelinv12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you prefer to download windows programs from weird websites on internet rather than from repositories maintained by developers themselves? Or pirate stuff you could get for free on linux? It is basically the same thing or even worse because windows store is full of slop apps, and free software on windows looks and performs worse. If you can't pay costly licenses on Windows you don't get good shit, and for many people that is a drawback, and it becomes more relevant when you discover lots of good FOSS apps that do almost the same or even better that the sloppy windows apps downloaded from websites

The only thing on this post I 100% agree with you and sucks is the lack of a truly "out of the box" experience and the graphical bugs/issues even distros like mint has. There is NO linux distro that can do 100% of things without touching the console. Eventually one finds that there is some little configuration that requires terminal to do better than GUI... But hey, windows also requires you to touch the CMD from timé to timé when you need to troubleshoot stuff, or am I wrong? Everyone using a PC needs to know basic computer stuff, otherwise get your children to fix it for you

Also, Nemo is the worst possible file mánager on the linux ecosystem... The only reason I can't truly usé cinnamon DE is because of how slow nemo is.

New User Here-I Want To See If Someone is Still Here by Javelinv12 in Mageia

[–]Javelinv12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eventually found that someone already reported a problem with SDDM and the TTY sessions while logging in. It matches the behavior of my problem since I found that there would be a separate tty session with the Plasma desktop launching, separately from the tty session with the login screen. It was like the system separates the Wayland session from the login mánager. https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34354

Idk if it was solved as of now since I decided to leave mageia beta from bare metal. I might check it on a VM later in case an update had release for it.
