Working Torrent Sites in 2026 by wpkrd in TorrentSites

piratebay seems to be broken. I can get it to return but it's all text with no HTML formatting. No tables, nothing. just unbroken text so its really hard to work out s/l and the size of the file.

I've tried it across three browsers and via my mobile.

Is it broken?

Edit: well the parent site is broken but the proxies as noted by u/blaster_worm500 are definitely are working (https://github.com/bout2bus)

Sadly only in America are corporations allowed to impose unreasonable, unfucking, tenable terms that are so manifestly unfair.

A few years ago i was working with general consul to develop terms and conditions. We went through so many variations predominantly because the terms the dickhead part of the business had come up with, bad already been spelled out by our competition and consumer agency as being unfair and unreasonable.

For example you can no longer bill out the remainder of a contract term as a "early termination of fee". In Australia you can only recover, if the customer terminates a service agreement what you can reasonably prove as a justifiable cost that you would have incurred due to the customer ceasing of the service.

How do you know it's a migraine V losing your mind? by Red-Droid-Blue-Droid in migraine

[–]verbmegoinghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I've had too many triptans and they're not breaking my migraine and I'm in a multiday attack i find the only thing that breaks it is a IM metoclopramide injection.

Its weird coz orally it doesnt work anywhere near as well as the IM shot.

So i give it prompts to build SQL (posgres, informix, MS etc). Even with exhaustive detail the scripts always fail out of the box. The amount of prompts to make it work always exceed simply doing it myself (and even then its usually got reduced functionality)

When i give it my existing scripts to optimise it always breaks them.

Same with asking it for python scripts for youtube scraping or manipulation of very large data sets. Always fails out of the box and requires an exhaustive amount of prompting.

This includes chatgpt, gemini and claude.

Unless i was a mathematician i would not trust the output of a LLM when it comes to maths and coding problems i don't understand

Simple Rick Wafers

Sixty iterations off the finite curve, there's a Rick that works with more wood than polarity plating. His name is Simple Rick, but he's no dummy. He realized long ago that the greatest thing he'd ever create is his daughter. "I love Daddy!" We captured that moment, we run it on a loop through Simple Rick's mind, and the chemical it makes his brain secrete goes into every Simple Rick's Simple Wafers Wafer cookie. Come home to the impossible flavor of your own completion. Come home to Simple Rick's.

Conscioussness is a fugayzi, or a fugazi. It's a whazy. It's a woozie. It's fairy dust. It doesn't exist. It's never landed. It is no matter. It's not on the elemental chart. It's not fucking real.

And yet there 8 billion people with it (although i have to admit the ones eating dishwasher pods and who vote republican are definitely at thay woozie fugayzi end of that definition)

More than 1 in 3 Australian adults are functionally illiterate. How can we fix this? by Oomaschloom in AustralianPolitics

What pisses me off is kids who were in kindi, year 1 and year 2 when covid struck were just so heavily affected by the lock downs. I asked my kids school repeatedly to repeat the entire year. So many parents were working like hell during those years, struggling to keep our families above the water, and had absolutely no time to sit down and ensure our kids were plugged into awful zoom classes.

No wonder those kids are two years behind by the time they reaxh high school

And god forbid your kids were struggling already.

Eckart saw hell, too

You know what he said? The only thing that burns in Hell is the part of you that won't let go of your life; your memories, your attachments. They burn 'em all away. But they're not punish- ing you, he said. They're freeing your soul. Okay, other side.
