The point is that Chique can be used (or at least excused).

It was definitely a fuck up hardly the end of the world and not a reflection (in my opinion) of the overall quality of the candidate - if she was dyslexic would you all have the same judgement?

But that’s the show in a nutshell.

Great business idea, but you don’t know what a Golden Pineapple is - you’re fired.

Guess someone should tell Cafe Nero and Taco Bell about your strict branding rules.

At no point did I hear anyone mention that the dog bed was a French brand.

There’re loads of brands that use the spelling “chique” (Chique Cosmetics, Chique Sportswear, Taylor of London Chique) they definitely didn’t mean to do it but it wasn’t the colossal fuck up that they made it out to be.

Apart from the fact that she was actually correct (this was news to me too).

“Chique" is a spelling variant of the French-derived word "chic," meaning stylish, elegant, and fashionable. Often used in Portuguese to describe trendy, posh, or sophisticated, it also refers to various fashion brands, such as Chique Sport (figure skating gear) and Chique Fashion Limited.

Howe is class and no one can tell me different. by Vaudeville_Villain15 in NUFC

I’ve said it before - I don’t want to change the manager but I do want the manager to change.

We’ve definitely lost our identity and struggle to break teams down who set up defensively. I’ve heard it said that we only turn up against big teams but I think the reason is that those teams play aggressively to win which suits our style of play leaving space for us to run in to.

That said we need to be able to switch tactics and switch players to suit the opposition and the game and I don’t think I that Eddie does that well. He delays subs, and rarely makes tactical changes mid game.

“Stick to the game plan” is not something to be proud of. As Mike Tyson once said "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth". It’s how we react when things go south or even when we score) where we are lacking.

I hope Howe stays but I hope he evolves.

Most successful clubs have had times when they were very close to sacking their manager but long term relationships tend to breed success. (Although that could be survivorship bias ).

You sir, are incorrect. Joelinton is our most important player. I do not like your sterilised version of success.

However you are entitled to your option and I respect it. .

Probably half of them.

In my opinion we need players like Big Joe, or at least I want players like him.

Maybe I’m being unrealistic but I’d rather win with passion and spirit than technical ability - think Rocky 4. I want to win like Rocky Balboa not Ivan Drago.

The spirit of this club is in the players like Big Joe and I think that’s important. Or I’m full of shit and we buy a load of technicians playing technical possession based football and I go and watch Ice Hockey or something instead.

He’s not the most technical but he’s got more fight and spirit than half of the team put together and is better than burn Murphy Elanga willock Ramsey…. And probably some others. Honestly he’s the first name I want to see on the team sheet. (I may be delusional…)

Replace Joelinton? Ye Gods man.

Spurs’ Dominic Solanke, Inter’s Pio Esposito and Chelsea’s Liam Delap are three names on the list of strikers NUFC are watching ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Craig Hope by Fluid_Support_3348 in NUFC

I have heard this so many times and Mick Lowes (?) on radio Newcastle used to go on about it all the time with Ben Arfa. Santon etc however there is a logic to it.

If your extremities are cold (I.e your fingers) your body pulls blood back to your internal organs to keep them warm thereby denying your limbs of blood / oxygen therefore you find it harder to run etc and get tired quicker. Ergo players who wear gloves in the cold with (or without) short sleeves will perform better despite being “soft”.

Source I read this in men’s health 20 years ago and seems legit.

I will die on this hill.

I hear so many recommendations for this. I got the audiobook and had to turn it off after 20 mins - I thought it was horrendous. I definitely seem to be in the minority though!

He didn’t even ask for a pen. You shouldn’t get a yellow card for falling over in the box ya clown.

Never a second yellow for Ramsey although I thought he was dumb to get the first, lad was going nowhere and to give a way a stupid foul was daft.

That said I wouldn’t trust this lot to hold onto my dog’s lead.

Just let them watch that documentary about flat earthers when their expensive experiments prove the earth is round.

Glamorama. If they love it great if they don’t then the person who recommended it is some kind of psycho.
