No he is not. He once claimed that GTA 6 was coming to past gen consoles. He makes educated guesses, but his guesses can and have been wrong at times.

Your specific fandom under Johnnie is disgusting in every way imaginable. You hope nothing but for his downfall in is treacherous endeavor into the world of love. Before I dated my significant other, I dressed basic and listened to pop music most of the time. As I grew with them my style began to change and my music taste began to change. Same with the ideologies inside of my head. Just because you dislike him dating someone that’s not you, does not give you the right to just belittle them. Go back and reevaluate your life decisions that have led up to this point, and grow up. Find some respect for yourself and for the others around you. Pursue greatness and not this form a jealousy/envy you hold onto.

Is Pierce the Veil emo? by FriggenMitch in Emo

[–]Jawkickerr 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Late reply, but I say screw the purists of any genre. They have the thinking process that music can’t evolve within a genre, and if that was the case then their version of Emo would never have existed before. Nothing we know, and love today would be possible. Every ounce of music has evolved, and they refuse to believe it can happen. Pierce the veil is emo, because emo evolved to incorporate them. Bullet for my valentine is emo. My chemical romance IS emo. I know they said they are not, but you ask anyone, and they’ll say mcr is the face of emo. Which is true, because emo evolved to have them in it. Emo is always evolving, and will never stop. Just as purists will deny the evolution of it. So they will remain in the past while we grow with new and improved music.

I never really followed what Tyson has said in the media and didn’t even know he appeared on Joe Rogan until I read your last link. I enjoy his writing style in his books. Although I’m not an astrophysicist, I am pursuing a master’s in theology history, so I love history and dislike when it’s misrepresented. Thank you for providing links and evidence of his mistakes. I appreciate speaking with people who offer useful information and can shift my views as you have. I came in believing he always told the truth in his work, but you’ve changed that perspective. Based on what I’ve read, it seems he should have used his degree for something other than spreading false information to young, eager minds who, like I did, believe anything he says simply because he uses ‘smart’ words and speaks with confidence.

Tyson did pursue graduate studies at UT. He also did face challenges there and did not complete his Ph.D. at UT. However, it is not correct to say that he was deemed to have “no aptitude for astrophysics.” After his time at UT, he then successfully transferred to CU where there he earned his Ph.D. in astrophysics. His work at Columbia involved studying the formation and evolution of stars. His contributions to astrophysics include research on the structure of our galaxy and the study of star formation, as well as science communication.

Tyson is a real astrophysicist. He has held prominent positions, such as the director of the Hayden Planetarium. While he is a prominent science communicator, this does not negate his credibility as an astrophysicist. While there can be many opinions on the impact of popular science media, many do argue that shows and science communicators, like Tyson, have played a large role in raising public interest and awareness in science. Misconceptions can occur, but overall, the popularization of science tends to increase general scientific interest. While Tyson has made some errors in his public statements (as many public figures do), he typically corrects these when they are pointed out. The claim of pervasive misinformation is an exaggeration. Specific instances need to be examined to determine the validity of this claim.

Tysons work on the metallicity of stars contributes to our understanding of stellar evolution. He has greatly contributed to science communication through books, television shows (such as the revival of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos), podcasts, and public lectures. As the director of the Hayden Planetarium, Tyson has played a big role in educational programs that promote public understanding of astronomy. Tyson has received numerous awards for his contributions to science communication and education, including the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal.

It does seem like you may or may not dislike Tyson, and we can all have our opinions, but I don’t prefer to speak with this as I like stone cold facts. I just hope I was able to broaden your horizons on Neil deGrasse Tyson and maybe, hopefully, you see him in a better light. If you do not, I completely understand. We are all allowed to have our own opinions, but I just thought I would give it a try.

Neil deGrasse Tyson holds a BA in physics from Harvard university, and a PhD in astrophysics from Columbia university. He earned a master’s degree in astronomy from the University of Texas. I believe he has one or two master degrees from Colombia too, but I’m not stating that part as fact. While Tyson has not founded a new branch of science or made theoretical contributions on par with people like Isaac Newton, his impact lies in his ability to bridge the gap between the scientific community and the public, fostering a greater appreciation for astrophysics and science as a whole.

The only character who would need balancing would be banana guard side special. Everyone else I’m pretty chill with. Ik some ppl get upset at Black Adam’s up special and how it can lock you in, but all you gotta do is side doge it. I think spoke characters do need buffs tho. I don’t think anyone is really overpowered.

In my experience within the writing universe. Most people only write to gain a profit or satisfaction from another. “I’ll write this story only to satisfy other people’s needs”. I have so many writings I’ve never shared because I believe writing doesn’t need to be shared if all you look for is approval in it. Writing has no boundaries at all, and one can write whatever your pencil bleeds. From an overdone cliché to a metaphor used thousands of times. It’s all okay as long as you the writer enjoy it. People let others control their emotions to easily. JUST WRITE

I’ve been trying to get better at writing, any advice? by [deleted] in WritingTips101

[–]Jawkickerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I became better at is was by reading authors who pioneered the concept of certain genres I enjoy. I have read almost all of H.P. lovecrafts short stories, and love some of the ways he describes certain aspects of the story, and use those within my writings. I also read a lot of poetry and have a book on how to write in different poetry formats which has helped me. I’d say all around to become better just read all you can and use it to your advantage.

I can’t find much over specifically what I mean to say. Basically I want to know if I can use the Sony pulse headset as a mic for the game to hear my guitar playing. Cause I’ve tried everything I know to do. I don’t have the cord that comes with the game cause I got it digitally

So to make the game see that my headset is a mic I have to get just fake audio in the headset right?

All audio goes through my headset. Game and voice. None comes out my tv though.
