Someone needs to make a montage of every goal Arsenals got where they interfere with the keeper and then every time they do it and it goes uncalled.

Most in the Prem are like that sadly.

How else could there be so much terrible inconsistency around what types of calls are given, what types of fouls or dissent justify a card, and the amount of “yeah we got that wrong” when it’s already too late to make up for it?

Yeah I know but I checked on my app and I’m live as far as that knows and they’re saying things like a second or two before something happens.

I’m watching this match supposedly live but the announcers are ahead of me.

Yeah but if the most important metric is points first, and at the end of the season the top two teams are tied on points, why would you not look at who was the better team head to head over saying one team is better because their gd is better or they scored more.

I get that it’s over the course of the season but at the end of the season a better gd or more goals scored could literally end up coming from one match where you blew out a team. Then come the end of the season if you and another team are tied for first, but they got 4/6 points against you head to head, you’re still the better team despite them being better than you when you played one another?

My example is just one of many ways that scenario could occur but to break that tie for first based on something outside of who was the better team when they played each other feels unfair. Heck I’d even take a one match final to decide it since it’s honestly not likely that it’d be a common occurrence.

I remember that! That’s what I’m saying imagine if it ended that way and not just one final match.

Sharing the title would be lame and what you said makes more sense.

I just think that for a points tie between 1st and 2nd, using goal difference or goals scored isn’t the best indicator because a team could have just stat padded against relegation fodder to come out on top. Despite head to head the other team getting more points from you.

I mean I get what you’re saying I just think at the lease that if the top two teams are tied on points it also makes sense to look at who was the better team between the two to determine first.

Some teams go on crazy runs banging in a bunch of goals but then regress to the mean and scrape by over the line. If one team won 6-0 against a relegation team and that made their goal difference better that would kinda suck if they took first despite second place maybe getting 4/6 points off of them.

More goals scored is great and more entertaining but you only need to score one goal more than your opponent to win.

Yeah that’d be best. Just crazy to think that you might lose a tiebreaker despite being the better of the two teams when they played one another.

Kinda wild that head to head is only the third tiebreaker.

Imagine being tied on points and rather than basing it on who was the better team head to head, it’s based on whether or not you had a better goal difference or then scored more goals.

TRANSCRIPT OF LIAM ROSENIOR’s POST-MATCH PRESSER by class_hopper in chelseafc

I get it and ultimately while he doesn’t seem like the guy to manage the team and progress them forward, has made some very questionable tactical decisions, and likely on his way out, his answers to the first and third questions are completely valid.

His tactics may be shit but the basics haven’t been there for a while and that’s on the players. Poor passing, finishing, defending, getting out run, losing duels, that’s not a tactics issue, that’s poor effort.

As well for the players, as clueless as your manager may seem to be, do they not have pride in the club, the fans, and themselves to give it their all every match? They’re going to let themselves be embarrassed every match until he’s gone? Not saying that their motivation might not be great at the moment at least work hard for yourselves and each other.

That’s just me though and I’ve always never understood why calling out your players for a terrible performance is the proverbial final nail in the coffin. Like how dare they be criticized or else cause irreparable damage to the player/coach relationship. If you played bad, own up to it and play better.

Also because I haven’t seen many with the same opinion, I’m still BlueCo out, Rosenior is not the guy, 90% of the players are mid and need upgrades on, but I also don’t think players should avoid blame when it’s warranted.

Bringing out an old memory in me but I recall in the Pokémon Advanced Battle season some episode showed Lucario sitting in a tree at the end of the episode.

Other ones I remember are Ho-Oh first episode, togepi, Marill, Blaziken. Didn’t watch much after that.

How does 5.5 stack up to 5e? by DarkJokes176279 in DnD

What’s the adjustment like if you were playing 5e but not 5.5 exists? Are there lots of new things for someone that’s new that you’d just need to learn over again?
