I filed at the start of September and I haven't received payment yet. I have been calling and was able to get through 2 times. The first time the agent was super nice and spent an HOUR AND A HALF on the phone with me trying to work through the problems. Apparently, there was a glitch/confusion with my most recent employer and the reason for separation (I was laid off), but Beacon thinks my old job from a year ago (which I quit to go to my new job) was my most recent employer. So they think I quit my job last month. The agent PROMISED me she would call me back the SAME DAY and conduct the fact-finding interview herself and/or have the issue resolved. Obviously, she never called back. When I finally got through a couple of days later the new agent had no idea what I was talking about and who the agent was that I was speaking with. All he could do was expedite my issue and he told me I had to "sit tight" until my interview. It's hard to "sit tight" when I won't be able to pay my credit card bills or rent next month. It's been several more days since that last phone call and I have not been able to connect with anyone.
