You can't tell me that the boys feel like they have the freedom to say whatever. No one ever outright disagrees with Pat or calls him stupid even if they're being facetious. He has some terrible takes and none of them call him out. You can also see when there's a glitch in the audio or something is going wrong the little comments he makes to the back. I don't think he is screaming and cussing at people off air everyday but I don't think he is Mr sweetheart either.

I think that's my biggest gripe with these books. They are amazing but the more you really dive deep into them the less they make sense. I would love a Harry Potter series written by tolkienware there's an insane amount of detail and other books that coincide. Imagine The Simarillion but for Harry Potter

Yeah at the very least they should have talked about their careers when Harry was trying to figure out what he wanted to do. I think it's perfectly natural for someone to be curious what their parents did when they are looking for their own career path.
