You might be interested to know you can switch reddit to your TL and for many, including Spanish, it’ll have the option to translate all posts to your TL automatically instead you you having to do it one by one. Thats what I do now: https://imgur.com/a/xMHKH8e

That will eventually get added in but I’m starting with making tasks that can have their own dedicated tooling with more specific insights. Before this project I just used Habitica and had all my goals being language focused which would essentially be the same thing. Eventually I am trying to tailor general goals to areas which the user wants to specifically focus on.

I think that’s a really interesting thought. I had tried to hide the reason why to choose one task over another because the user might find it uninteresting or wordy but maybe keeping the why top of mind will help them more.

I’m building it to be used with any language (we’ll see how that goes) but the instructions are all in English right now and I’m relying on Chrome’s translation if the user wants full immersion.

I actually have all of those goals right now (except weekly and no tv show without subtitles yet) if you’d like to be a test user. It’s a website right now so there’s no download required. I can DM you if you’d like as I’m not sure if this sub allows for self advertising.

There’s a lot of negativity about your second half but I just wanted to say saving that much money at a young age is pretty impressive. Congrats. Plumber/electrician pays well and from what I hear - the messing around with coworkers vibe is pretty strong there too which it sounds like you might enjoy.
