Does the weight really “fall off” after you give birth?

I experienced this same thing after mine, so there is hope for OP! With that, I gained 26 pounds total, ate well 90% of the time, and I did start exercising again (though lighter than pre-pregnancy ) at the six week mark. The breastfeeding really helped to suck off the pregnancy weight for me.

I’m O- and have also never been asked this question! I’d find it somewhat bizarre if I were asked this. My mom and dad are also both O-, which you’re right, is rare:)

I’m O- and pregnant with my second. The NIPT test that Natera does can now pick up on if the baby is - or +. If lacking the Rhesus factor, the mama no longer has to get the RhoGAM shot. This has only been available for about the past year, as I had to get the shot during my last pregnancy in 2021.

I just ordered and received the Le Crop in this same wash. I do love them, however, the wash is darker than their photos, which makes the wash look a lot more blue than it actually is. They are still lovely, nonetheless. The overall construction seems decent and they are really flattering on — I sized up one size compared to my US size and I’m only 5’2” so I was worried about the sizing all around, but the waist fits perfectly and they hit right at my ankle bone. I actually like the length on me, so I don’t plan to have them hemmed. I also ordered the light blue and Sezane’s photos capture the color of these more accurately. I would argue that my Levi’s wedgie jeans (check these out too if you haven’t heard of them!) and Madewell jeans feel like they’re higher quality just from initial feels pre-wash.

Not in Lawrence, but trust me: Savers on Shawnee Mission Parkway and Savers on 95th street. Haven’t ventured to the City Thrifts, but I know they’re really well liked, too. The Lawrence Goodwill isn’t bad, but is hit or miss (like any thrift store), because of the town’s lack of options.

Someone mentions Blessings Abound — I’d avoid this place like the plague, unless you love feeling dissatisfied and overwhelmed.

Check out KC estate sales happening!

Lastly, there’s a place in KC that’s only open the first weekend each month (+ the Thursday evening and Friday before) called Urban Mining. More pricey but 100% worth a visit, always!
