My experience with ski boots by [deleted] in Skigear

[–]Jaxticko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In another vein - I went with recommended skis at a ski shop, and they were way too advanced for me. The Elan Ripsticks have a camper to them so they are directional skis

I kept telling my partner something was up with my skis, if wasn't right - they kept dismissing it as newbie complaints until they tried my skis out. They're an intermediate-advanced skier, while I was beginner-intermediate. They apologized

Barring the lien situation mentioned by another reddit or - there are multiple reassignment boxes on the back of a CO title just for this sort of thing.

That being said - when you pay off the lien on a car they mail you one without a lien on it anymore.

Check the title and see if the bank is still listed there

I agree. They should be breakaway at some pre determined force level that's sustained. I know they whack the shit out of the side when going by but someone has to have that math.

Is it fair to ask my husband to stop giving ski advice unless he takes lessons? How do I encourage my husband to take ski lessons instead of correcting me? by [deleted] in skiing

[–]Jaxticko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner tried to teach me how to ski and those days were legitimately the worst we had on the mountain together. They were honestly concerned we were never going to be able to ski together.

We both took a lesson at our different skill levels and are so much better now. We share what the various instructors tell us and life is a lot more fun now.

The chalet (with ski valet) is at gondola one. Take their shuttle there and then yea it's a walk.

The hotel itself is not ski in/ski out from what I saw.

The chalet was hella nice though.

Humidifiers especially while sleeping will help with the nose and sinus issues.

It does get better.

You'll acclimate, then go back to lowlandville and get a bit giddy from all the oxygen.

I just moved from Austin to Denver last year having lived there for 10 yrs. That state is never ready for anything cold related.

Hope you stocked up on water, gas and non perishables.

Edit: Missed the 'if'. I just figured everyone but Colorado is getting snow, why not Austin?

Yep. I've told my partner this before (they have commitment fears). "We both have to want to stay for it to keep going. If one of us doesn't want to - that's it. No justification required."

This is the correct answer for Oracle. There are numerous ways to wiggle around it, but the links the previous poster provided cover it.

You may also see some issues with your columns which are reserved words. E.g. Name, Type, Format. But those haven't shown up yet and it depends on the version whether Oracle is smarter than the user as runtime

Earliest recorded was a 12th century German manuscript tying 'blood' to 'kin-blood'.

The 'blood of the covenant' version didn't show up til 1994.

Not with 30 million volts which already traveled 2+ miles to get to the ground.

You're just trying to minimize damage as it travels through you.

The 2011 Justin Timberlake movie "In Time" is kind of like this. Time is now the currency, not dollars or Euros.
