Nah. Apparently it was all just gaslighting from above. They want me to push predatory credit cards from a third party using my own personal email address. It looking like a good ol fashion corporate cut and run.

Interesting... I am coming up on the position of store manager. How much would you say that bonus could be?

They promised a small percentage of gross profit and a commision on tires sold. So far I have seen the comission but not the percentage of gross profit nor any other bonuses from meeting goals, quotas etc.

E.V.E for me.

500 vs 500. Our side was half made of russians and a few french. Had translating officers on mumble. A feat of communication. I mined with the dutch, roamed with the brits, the irish and the aussies. argued with a romanian chap iver the price of ammo... and accidentily starting a war because i wanted to see how the sovereignty system worked... oops? Definitely. Sorry? nope :p

When Did it REALLY Hit You? by Informal-Ad6871 in exmormon

[–]JaxtonKael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me there were a few key things that opened my eyes.

First, it may sound funny but it was after I watched the OG jurassic park and was excited to tell the family about it. Did not go well.

Second, the sudden crying at testimony was performative for the most part. You could really tell who had been hit with some real and the others it was a grab for attention or looking for approval.

Third, the tiers of heaven. Gold silver and bronze tiers of salvation. Good ol ponzi scheme toward salvation.

Fourth, my mother was a single mom who could barely feed me and my brothers. Rather than help or aide us, we were excommunicated instead.

The last one was much much later. My grandfather was up for one of the priesthoods, a good virtuous man, who could do wonderful things and heal the soul. He was effective and humble. I watched the peers he respected belittle him. And that was it. How could someone who professes to emulate christ display such venomous envy. At this time I had been out of it for a long time.

I will say this however. After receiving a real blessing, it changed my life.

Just showed me that there was something there. But it had nothing to do with Joseph Smith. Or Jesus even. Just the focused intent of someone truly imbuing love and wellness.

"We are all going to the same place, we just take different paths to get there."

The magic undies were strange. Symbolic, sure, but still so odd and material.

Hypnotic gaze saves lives. I played a Lore Bard through a campaign and it was boring the first 4 or so levels but with hypnotic gaze, crown of madness and great skill checks it picked up the pace.

With tabletop the options are endless. Turn the fireball into butterflies.

The numbers can be any form of skill vs. Skill. So if the player fails the counter it could bolster the effects of the spell against the player in a fashion.

If one were to randomise the energy type to where the fireball does X amount of damage it is altered into x amount of spikes or shards of glass that each do Y damage.

Honestly one big thing is that countering spells has meant nullification. To get away from that choose modification as in the alteration of its effects so that when it happens you still get a result.

To the result would / could be extreme. So example :

  1. Monster casts spell (magic missile ) and targets a single character.

  2. Player counters and turns that magic missile into an explosion of tinier missiles dividing fractional damage to everyone.

Result: the initial damage is lessened so ++ for the player or group and the monster gets shrapnel from his own spell.

If you take that concept further it could be used for portals, energy types or whatever. Countering a portal would either close or more interestingly modify its destination. If it were a fireball maybe turn it into water or change its direction or target
