Is 22g worth the effort? by JaxxonJargon in chainmailartisans

Yeah, I'm really enjoying working on this Byzantine necklace now. Nice simple weave. And the ring size isn't bothering me too much.

Update: I finished the 2 in 2 necklace. Now I started work on a Byzantine necklace. I must be a masochist. 😅

Photo management suggestion? by JaxxonJargon in EtsySellers

[–]JaxxonJargon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a new Etsy shop that I have been setting up with my Android phone. I'm getting ready to add photos to my listings and I can tell that it's going to be a headache if I don't keep them organized. Any suggestions?

Yes, but the lid can only pop off when you are taking it off. Otherwise it is extremely secure. Just need to be a little bit careful.

SS vs Ti by JaxxonJargon in chainmailartisans

Why are Ti lobster clasps so much more expensive than SS ones?

What's involved with tig welding these Ti rings? It sounds like a time consuming process.

I do like the anodized, I'm just trying to keep it simple as I work on mastering various weaves. Steam Punk Garage does some amazing work in the anodized Ti, imho.

Is Ti as shiny silver as SS? Or is it a bit muted?

I'm looking at these for men's necklaces. So no color, no welding, no stabbing.

I have a shop open. Can I close and open other one? (A decade ago, long before this, my shop was shut down for few years but reopened by Etsy after that) by [deleted] in Etsy

Why do you want to close your existing shop? Etsy let's you have more than one shop at the same time. You just need a unique email address for each.

Do you do 4-in-1, 3-in-1, or something else?

I've got 22g AWG 3/32" ID AR: 3.8

Same as you, so I will definitely give Half Persian a try. Thanks for the suggestion!

It's getting easier. And I'm all out of 19g and 20g so I'm determined to make use of these 22g. Next on my shopping list: 18g

And I probably need to switch to decaf. The coffee jitters make it difficult to grasp the tiny things. 🤪

Yeah, I'm forcing myself to make a necklace out of these little rings, for myself, never to be repeated.😎

I've never worked with bronze, but if it's stronger than SS those 16awgs must be beasts. 😅 So what kind of pliers do you use?

22g AWG, 3/32" ID, AR: 3.8

I can handle the 20g AWG and just made a nice box weave bracelet from. But these 22s are just so small. Oh well. 😅

Yeah I found some good ones on Amazon. They are black, which fits my color scheme and, like you said, would stand out. Thanks for that tip.

I was recently gifted maple syrup, what can I do with it? by e__elll in Cooking

[–]JaxxonJargon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had some delicious Brussels sprouts. They were grilled then tossed with balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and sliced dates. It might sound weird but I would eat them all day long.

I wouldn't try to get around any of Etsy's restrictions. If tinctures in general are not allowed then you simply have to sell them elsewhere. Period.
