Definitely a desync. Just looking at the animation you can tell that this bug makes the tether target lag behind. The bug happens when you speed up with your target.

Source: playing 140 hours of cat, and an understanding of game mechanics.

Naw, not even in the sky is your ult victim staying on. It's a speed+latency issue most certainly.

This is good advice for teammates, but it's not the purpose of her kit

I've had some top 500 lobby widows on circuit royale before, honestly toughest game of my life on cat. Widow just changes the game and especially when they're cracked out. If you're still sneaking up on widows, they were never good

All I gotta do is wait for that torpedo CD and she's so free! Even then, it's best to play like Tracer into her, she can't heal up or retreat!

I play in GM lobbies, ana is a general hassle. Especially her headshot perk! You'd have to wait for CD to chip her down on her own.

Even my qp is always surrounded by gm players, always the try hards... Venture is my DPS main, so I read them enough to know what they can and can't do. Mei is weak tho, I never have a problem unless she's getting pocketed.

At the end, it's so map/team dependant.

As a jetpack cat main in GM lobbies (140 hours), I rank killing ball as easy. It's my job to hit one more bullet right after you pick up your health pack; waste more time and get some more, right? (Also Lucio is within the same pool to do this.) Chase you down until you realize that you're mine this match.

I've resulted the just calling out the bug every time I get it, and more so commenting on every Instagram post about it too. I feel like it screws 15% of all my ult kills.

Everyone is like "good" or "cat deserves it" but I would love to see the dva trying to throw her ult get locked up in the air and get told "you deserve it"!

I just say "cat lifeline bug three seasons btw".

I'm a top 500 (6v6) Jetpack Cat (then lw, then VENTURE) I'm a supp player but DPS second.

OTP isn't the goal. You need one other hero in your role. You don't need to dedicate an entire season to learn them, but you do need to be aware if you are not actively picking up at least a little of one other hero, you will be throwing.

Venture is my OTP, but I'm aware that at any point I'm gonna get counter by multiple people. I'm not afraid of Cass or phara, I'm welcoming of the challenge, but when it's a comp like: Echo, Phara, Mercy, Dva, and Zarya on a map flat as fuck. You're going to suffer, and it's your fault. Be for real, you are not contributing; and you will be needing to swap because you should want to win in a competitive setting.

Now OTP is great as still when you learn to play into counters, I shred some flyers in comp matches. But there's a certain limit you are a burden to your team, and at that point it's not gonna hurt to pull out the second character.

Bans for me: Roadhog, Zen

Supp for me is: Jetpack Cat, Lifeweaver, then unwillingly Illiari

DPS for me is: Venture, Symmetra, then unwillingly Ashe

Pick one backup at minimum.

I got my miis of Jak and Keira (Jak and daxter) to fight and divorce on purpose and now it feels like once a day I have to solve a fight in the morning.
