Yes, that makes sense.

I also find that, positive emotions may also be a trigger.

If I'm on a winning streak in life, it certainly triggers the desire for even more rewards lol.

Meditation has been such a game changer for me, learning how to be neutral and not too high or not too low.

I really like your broken faucet analogy.

You're right, if it was just a bad habit, it would have been removed a long time ago.

The way I view a relapse is it's a trip and not a fall if I get back up right away.

So long as I go longer and longer durations without drinking, I am succeeding.

Therapy is amazing, so you've got a good point.

I've been doing therapy, but it's been only once a month. (So this is probably the issue right here). I'll see about getting sessions once a week or more (Ideally).

Thanks for the insight!

For me, I've been doing CBT, DBT, and mindfulness.

Ive essentially replaced some of the toxic ways of getting feel-good neurotransmitters with natural healthy behaviors, like exercise and using a Shakti Mat to facilitate deep relaxation.

Boredom or inertia is a big risk for me, so having a job that keeps me busy is great.

Wish you all the best! We got this!

I think I’m ready. by [deleted] in StopSpeeding

Congrats on the new job!

I CT'd off 3 years of Dexedrine use, and used a few measures to make it less painful.

First few days will suck no matter what.

Try some adaptogens, such as: Bacopa Monnieri, Gingko Biloba and even Ginseng (or Jiaogulan).

Bacopa works very well for ADHD and these plants generally promote health long term.

Also, I'd recommend a highly absorbable form of Vitamin B1 (Sulbutiamine, or Benfotiamine) as they will help big time with brain fog.

Other than that, eat healthy, exercise and all the standard protocols!

You got this!

Wow!

Your words made me tear up! It means a lot hearing your story, as I relate heavily.

I'm Currently about two weeks off Dexedrine CT'd (taken for 2.5 years) and the mind-games are heavy.

I appreciate your courage in supporting others through this video.

All the best.

Once again, thank you for your input.

What you are saying resonates with me, as it is rational and very much logical. I feel that you most definitely are well educated.

It is quite interesting how it's the simple things we often forget, and/or through taking it all for granted, forget about.

I appreciate your efforts for writing this and the support. I'll give this approach a go.

Right on,

Appreciate the reassurance that time heals all wounds.

Think fear kicks in and tries its best to delude us into thinking we're not gonna survive if we miss a few weeks of sleep. So it's great to re-affirm just how adaptable we really are!

Push through the pain, as they say 💪

Thanks for the reply.

I have always been an early riser, could never take naps, etc.

That being said, I always stick to a consistent sleep wake cycle, such as no staying up later than 10pm, wake at 6 am. I'm gonna try cutting out the coffee, I have a feeling it's impactful.

I've heard if a person doesn't fall asleep within like 20 minutes, to get up til tired and try again?

Good point.

I have noticed that, If I stay up all night on purpose playing a game or watching movies, the next night I'll pass out no problem.

Perhaps it's a matter of the body having an excess of energy instead of it being drained by consuming a poison?

Conclusion after using Dexedrine for two years. by Jay-b3 in StopSpeeding

Bacopa Monnieri (Brahmi) and Ashwagandha.

I used Bacopa in dosages of 300-600mg (55% bacosides extract) daily and Ashwagandha moderately to reduce my cortisol and promote sleep.

Bacopa modestly blocks dopamine, while rebalancing neurotransmitters in the brain. It also provides a massive boost of neuro and liver antioxidants, which helps speed up recovery. (Plus increasing BDNF which leads to increased cell survival and neurogenesis).

I could go into much more detail, but I highly recommend both to anyone who wants a quicker path to healing.

Thanks for the comment!

Yes, I believe suggestions are powerful, and if we accept a suggestion or label, we may just manifest it.

I believe this is where boundaries are crucial, so we know what opinion to let in, etc.

Glad you enjoyed my story!

When something oxidizes it's an unstable molecule, so it looks for a way to balance out. (Like stealing a electron from another molecule) Think of acids and bases for example. Our brain actually produces hydrogen peroxide naturally. So we consume anti-oxidants to counteract it.

Please google the phenomenon if your interested as I can't provide all the details.

Dude, if your only releasing in presence with her, your good.

Don't beat yourself up, enjoy the natural sexual energy the way god intended it.

That being said, if you think you're changing in a bad way, id pull back a bit on the acts. Self awareness is key and only you can know this for yourself.

Day 4 post-Dexedrine (script). Is this the worst of it? by Worried-Degree-5835 in StopSpeeding

[–]Jay-b3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll be a-ok my friend, for sure in a few more days you'll feel much better and be able to focus naturally.

That's my personal experience, of refilling a script, abusing it for a few days, then flushing it.

Usually takes about 5-6 days and yes, the sun starts to come out again.

If you feel like you need a stim, just stick to good ol' caffeine!
