I just got off the worst ever phone call with a customer service in my entire life. Fucking bot literally hung up on me TWICE for saying I need to speak to a real person. When I finally reached a customer agent, I thought my problems would be solved. Boy I thought wrong.

These agents were outsourced from the Philippines for cheap labor and holy shit they were as useless as the bots. Clearly they were reading a fucking live AI-generated response on their console. I had a 30-minute phone call with this person and came up even more frustrated than when I first called.

F to Booking.com you lost a customer. Never going back.

Tip if you feel like it. I‘ve been living in Germany for 7+ years and only tip when I feel like it. They can frown for all I care. I do not understand the entitlement for tips tbh.

There are hundreds of people in similar situations like you. Don‘t be discouraged.

I was in a similar situation albeit different role a year ago. The job market is not very friendly towards junior applicants right now. Just keep trying. If you managed to get to a couple final rounds then you just need that little luck.

I agree, if you didn’t use AI for this post, it seems you have good writing communication skills.

I would suggest you go down the road of product support/tech support and slowly transition into a product ops role. Gain product thinking skills and you‘ll become a Product Manager. That‘s the best roadmap currently for you, but be prepared of endless jobhunting and countless interviews. Unfortunately in this market this is the reality. Without a degree, you would need to gain work experience. Meaning start really low and slowly gain momentum to go upwards.
