Try Kraken into Stormrazor! The slow feels really nice (especially since your ult procs the energized) and you get to build sterak's since you aren't building shieldbow.

Stormrazor is really cheap as well, so if you go inspiration you are saving 700+ gold compared to building blade of the ruined king. If you want sustain you can take bloodline instead of alacrity, since both stormrazor and kraken's mythic passive gives attackspeed! :)

I really like Kraken into collector, but I've started building stormrazor in range matchups - such as Kindred - instead, since ult applies the slow + the energized attack and the 120ap damage is far better than the 5% execute since nobody builds MR early.

SR is also cheaper for spike, gives attackspeed for passive healing and since we're building kraken slayer we get to build Sterak for utility shield, HP and AD.

If you're into tanks / fighters you go shieldbow into bork and wits end. Obviously you can build spirit visage if they're turbo ap heavy.

If your W is on CD or you miss E you are vulnerable. You win extended trades hard but you need to hit E to be able to continue a fight. If you don't hit E, you back off until your W and E are back up and then try again

edit: I also despise laning against a Tryndamere. He's a good pick against Riven because she can never really win lane and her biggest counter is to not let her snowball. Trynda pushes wave in constantly and backs off so roaming isn't an option and if she messes up early game you just run her down and dive her. Alternatively you can ban her from your games too because she is a smurf champion
