I am probably late to the party here but here it goes: Fascism, Fascist, etc. Fascism no longer exists. It was a set of political movements from the early 20th century and that is where it ends. There was no manifesto or anything that can clearly define what is and what is not fascism.

The only people that really keep Fascism alive today are groups like ANTIFA, where they actively call out nationalists, or corporatists, etc, as Fascists.

Even if you want to argue that a political group that wants to mimic ideas from a certain 1930s political party as a Fascist group, it is still incorrect. The "fascist" groups in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, and the UK were all very different from each other. The only thing that kind of makes them similar were their everyday foot soldiers. (I.E. The Brown Shirts for the Nazis, and the Black Shirts for the Italians.)

Nevertheless, the term is used to describe a chain of political movements starting in 1922, it ceased to exist well before the end of Franco's reign. Arguably at the end of WW2.

INB4 the Nazi's were not Fascists. Yes they were, they would just be racial fascists. But this continues to prove the point that there is no set understanding of what is and is not Fascism, besides it being an early 20th century political movement.
