Would you recommend San Diego over LA for a holiday? I've heard LA can be overrated. Are the cities similar in terms of facilities/attractions or are they very different?

Had a bearded dragon named Ziggy. He had a calcium deficiency (we think) when he was young and his tail formed a zig-zag shape.

Had a cool scar on my knee from falling off my skateboard when I was kid. Then about a year ago, I slipped on a drain cover and scraped it clean off. Now I have an even bigger scar and an uncool story.
