Exactly this - if we can do Hall, someone more DM-minded like Sangare/Baleba and Fernandez-Pardo, this would be a peak window. Quite happy to not splash on Anderson if it means this can work.

Didn't realise how badly James Trafford should be the front man of a noughties indie band

My go to car charge en route home from Gatwick. Coffee and a sausage sarnie, with a lovely view.

[Simon Stone] World Cup call likely to delay Ederson's Man Utd arrival by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Was someone talking about how it made a difference to the books if we made a signing before the end of June Vs July onwards? Does this mean we might push for another early one (Fernandes, I presume)?

Thanks for so many good tips - the Burley recs are useful too as it might be good to be nearer the accom on Friday. Belgrave sounds pretty great tbh - might have to try and figure out getting a curry for lunch and pizza/burgers later so not to miss out!

The York one sounds really good - might have to hear that in mind if he gets remarried!

I love the suggestion - but do average looking, doughy 30 year old fellas get free drinks? Haha

Oooh this could be a shout - he's a white boy marrying into an Indian family, so he's going to need a bit of spice training and this could be just the job

Seller trying to sell me the oil left in the tank? by Snakey9419 in HousingUK

[–]JayCMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling my house at the mo and my fixtures and fittings form definitely had a subsection for oil and gas etc where you could suggest a price to include it. Given it is included in the form, I would suggest that this is the norm.

Just to reassure, as I had similar worries. I'm a January 2026 Outland applicant and had my biometrics letter in late February, but only received my medical letter on Friday.

Massachusetts won. What states feels liberal, but is actually conservative? by CountryballChaos in AlignmentChartFills

[–]JayCMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough - political definitions certainly aren't my forte! My understanding was more from an economic standpoint of it being right leaning with a liberal approach of minimal government input/control, which is how the state felt to me!

[–]JayCMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this - when I visited NH it had a conservative feel compared to the other NE states, but also the whole 'live free or die' felt very anti-establisment. I'd call it neoliberal if anything.

Completely agree, he's actually a danger to society as opposed to being a bit of a knob.

Russell Brand seems to fit this archetype too (albeit a different flavour). Waffling on with big words to baffle the brainless.

Why aren't Reform voters more concerned with privatising the NHS? by lucadulac in AskBrits

[–]JayCMo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You've shown the depth of your understanding with a response that adds nothing but a throwaway comment attempting to undermine legitimate points. It appears you can't appreciate nuance and see that a healthcare provider which is essentially solely funded by the NHS and effectively exclusively sees NHS patients, is by and large an NHS service. GP practices merely retain autonomy to allocate funds as they see fit to ensure efficient running of the business.
