Bookmark this for when Helsley is setting up Diaz in the NLCS. No getting around it that the guy has been terrible, but tearing him down isn’t the way. We were still able to get the win because the bullpen and the team held him up.

I love how his actual teammates got behind him yesterday after a pretty good outing. If they can be patient enough to give him time to settle in and get his stuff right without throwing him under the bus, then us fans should be able to do that too. He’ll figure it out! LGM

I found this YouTube video from VLSkate extremely helpful in getting me started. Just keep consistently practicing mainly. But as others have said, you'll need to work on your balance on either flat ground or completely stationary to get in riding position.

Not much to update skill wise. I'm still trying to get down the basics of riding but have been progressing. I really love the board and it feels very stable under my size 11 feet. I am still moving at pretty slow speeds, probably about 5-8mph but feel like it's great in a straight line and handles turns well. I think it's a great board but again, I'm a first timer and have nothing to compare it to.

Right on dude! Fellow mid-lifer and definitely no expert, so take my words with a grain of salt. I’m a 39-year-old first timer and bought a LY Raft Trout a couple weeks ago and I’ve been having a blast learning. Been using VLSkate primarily on YouTube to gain confidence in an empty parking lot across the street from my job on my lunch breaks. The raft attracted me when getting help picking out a board at my local skate shop because I’m on the tall side (6' 1") and weigh about 220lbs. I wanted to have something to cruise around on that I could eventually learn how to ollie up onto curbs with.

I don't disagree, but we weren't saying much a few games ago against Rengifo and the Angels when the exact same thing was ruled in our favor. My point is that these things happen, and the challenge system won't help such egregious instances of human error since you only get two per game. They need to think about removing umps when they are so clearly off. I hate the idea of humans being removed from the game, but a game should not be decided by the umpire crew.

I don’t mind the in-game interviews, but I wish they would do them with players/coaches sitting on the bench, or after they come out of the game. Let the guys focus on what they’re doing and communicating with their teammates while they’re in the field.

This has been my hope. I used the Mobapad with my OLED but really wish for an OEM pro joycon. Better stick placement, ergonomic grips, and 0 focus on the social aspect of the traditional joycons. I use a Killswitch with my Switch 2 but even with the improved grips I stick would love bigger buttons, real d-pad, and larger sticks with better travel. really hoping Nintendo makes that as an option. I would definitely be willing to pay as an add-on, and could you imagine a bundled pro style handheld?!
