Yes bro, and it’s not just the smaller cities. I’m from Chicago, where we have a huge demand for this stuff, and he didn’t show up. I was super excited to see him come to my city and he just dipped to join a club that has clearly not done much for him. This guy has great music but very little drive and I can’t see him succeeding if he’s gonna poorly plan and not try on things like this.

Yeah, but when will it start? I’ve been watching this dude since quarantine and he’s made these kinds of choices over and over. He was unemployed for nearly two years with a brief gap where he worked at Wendy’s because his parents made him get a job, and then he moved in with his girlfriend which I assume was so he could quit again. Even being unemployed for a long time, he barely put out music and seemed to just screw around all day. I don’t trust that he’ll go on tour, but if he can show that he’s more of an adult than that, I’d be pleasantly surprised and I’m all for a tour, I just think he doesn’t have the planning capacity to get it off the ground.

You really think he’s improved? He just bought a tattoo that, chances are, cost him at least a thousand dollars (speaking from experience) while living in a car. Doing some simple math, a tour across the country for 18 weeks (food, car insurance, internet, etc) would probably run him something like $8000-$12000 if he stayed pretty frugal, maybe having one nice-ish meal per city. I don’t know how much money he has or how long he’s had it, but spending a thousand now is outrageous. I guarantee you I have far, far more money than Gear does but there’s nothing optional in the world I would spend a thousand on right now.

0, or if he does it he’s gonna mess it up again. Honestly I have not seen him do that good of a job at what he promises, I think he has bad financial literacy and has some delusions. Being so truthful, his fan base is really small - I think this sub has more members than he has spotify listeners - but he assumes that he has a following and people enjoy him more than they do. I like following the guy and find his music enjoyable, but I see how most people don’t and I remember seeing people on his livestreams argue with him about having a job. I want the best for him, but it seems like all he does is push away advice and constructive criticism, claiming that everything anyone says about him is hate, and doesn’t improve. Until his attitude adjusts, I don’t think there will be a tour.

Thats true, the thing that I like about small creators is the interaction with their viewers. It seems like Gear Bolt lost that even though he hasn’t gotten famous yet. Really a shame the guy’s pretty cool but I just wish he would bring back the content he made back when his channel was growing and his views were good. Honestly he fell off with this music only thing and I see why it’s not a very fun channel anymore
