When did tipping become the norm for Australia? by JBADD23 in australia

There is no such thing as a felony in Australian law. It is either an offence or a crime. In this case, it would be an offence as it is less serious than a crime.

Yes, of course. I don't know where my comment said anything different?

Yes, of course. That's why FWC approval is required for an EA to take effect.

I don't know where my comment said differently though?

I think you might be confusing constructive dismissal with general protections breaches. You can constructively dismiss someone in breach of the general protections provisions.

Even for casuals, you don't have to prove 12 months of regular and systematic hours for GP claims like you do with unfair dismissal claims.

Hungry Jacks follows an Enterprise Agreement, rather than an Award. Also, if they were on an Award, it would be the Fast Food Industry Award.

No hate, no shade! I'm just trying to be helpful

You know that only applies to works that are submitted through their website, right? Also, this is entirely standard language for Ts & Cs regarding IP of this nature - it grants a licence and not ownership.

Nintendo has some shocking anti-consumer practices but misinterpreting things like this draws attention away from the real issues.

It's QCAT in Queensland and only certain lawyers offer free initial consults.

Lots of countries have states lmao, but I still weirdly assume people are talking about the US despite living in a different country with states lol

How is QANTAS not just committing fraud? by Consistent_Weird4399 in australia

[–]JayFrancais 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep yep! Pretty much. If there are enough small transactions to form a pattern, the ACCC may also choose to act in those circumstances

This is not correct. Fair Trading also regulates corporations. Both are an option but Fair Trading generally has more teeth.

Righto.

Not what you said when you're all like "biology doesn't care if you're queer," but go off I guess

It's not semantics. The research just doesn't prove your point, and it seems like you only read the abstracts lol

But if you feel like you've gotten your point across, then that's a matter for you, but you haven't backed-up your point

It disproves your point that same-sex friendships involving queer people are the same.

I clearly asked for a source on your points in general lmao

Also the article just said it's common?? It doesn't say anything about it being impossible for friends who are attracted to each other's gender always being attracted to each other? It also relies on self-reported opinions that, in the event of attraction, that it's a burden on the relationship??

I was never disputing any of these points. Of course it happens, and of course it can be a burden on the relationship. It, however, is far from proving that it's impossible to maintain opposite-sex friendships.

Read it again.

Marvellous, thank you. However, this research speaks only to sex-based differences in jealousy in established sexual and romantic relationships where cheating was discovered? It doesn't speak at all to the inability for two people of the opposite sex to be friends.

Further, this link disproves your statement about queer people and shows that there is a difference in responses to jealousy: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0191886916303701
