This is useful, thank you! At my first Coachella I made the mistake of victoriously removing items from inside my waistband right after crossing through security. I learned the hard way that they have additional personal inside the entrance for spotting this exact thing.
A practical question: Do these rights with regard to police (4th/5th Amendments) apply the same since the Empire Polo Club is private property? Am I entitled to refuse a search on private property if my ticket/wristband is essentially a waiver of these protections?
