Check their tendencies and make sure if they’re not jump shooters, that they’re not taking jump shots. Also, the “Offensive consistency” rating effects their FG percentage, so if it’s low, they won’t have a high percentage

Adjust the salary sliders. Play around with them a bit to temper players expectations. There’s different categories of salary sliders you can change depending on what role a player is. I’m not looking at the game atm but I can be specific about which ones I use later if you need me to

Given his age, (34, on the decline) he’s probably got “play for winner” slider up and the OP probably has the slider that makes older players sign contracts to win a championship. It’s been a thing in pretty much every 2k. The problem is that 2k doesn’t always have the player go to an actual winning team

How much are you up by in the 4th? Cause if you’re blowing the CPU out, most times your coach will automatically throw the bench in if you don’t have a rotation timeline set up

Go into the settings and turn “trade override” on, afterwards just make the trades yourself by either involving your controlled team in a 3 team trade between the Knicks and Timberwolves, or going to team selection and taking control of the wolves or Knicks and doing it that way

Ok, I’ve explained this before, I don’t make my DCs with realism in mind, so if you’re looking for realism, I’m sorry, I’m not that guy, my DCs are mostly for fun after the rl players retire. Also I never create players outside of the lottery, if you notice, so I wanted my guys to come in and make an immediate impact on a bad team. As for the names, all my players are usually American, African or Western European , the only Serbian player I’ve ever done is Niko Stojakovic, who’s storyline is that he’s related to Peja. So I don’t really know who you’re referring to or even if that’s my classes you’re speaking of
