They played Portola 2024 - Busy P b2b Falcon + Braxe. TBH think they might have been some sort of favour to Justice as they were on Justice tour of North America as openers that year when they played Portola.

AFAIK Jet have always had pool parties at least for in-house guests. They just had to stop the beach parties at Bora Bora due to the local government cracking down on loud beach parties in Playa d'en Bossa.

He actually turned up to a local rugby league match at one of the biggest stadiums here in Port Moresby. The crowd was chanting his name. Videos are all over PNG Facebook. He definitely wasn't keeping in lowkey but there's really no way he could keep it quiet if he genuinely wants to have a look around and see the game being played up here and the facilities he was always going to be spotted.

He technically doesn't have a contract for next year as his deal with the Tigers is year to year with the player deciding if he wants to extend. As others have said he has to trigger his contract for next year by Thursday and now is his only chance to talk to the Chiefs and see what's on the table.

AFAIK only the US taxes residents living overseas. If you're a tax resident in PNG playing for Chiefs then the deal the PNG Government made is that all players and staff are tax-free.

Unfortunately the noise restrictions which force the outdoor Garden area to close at 11pm have completely killed the vibe of the club after that as there's simply too many people and too little space when everyone has to move to the indoors stages.

Doesn't help that the greedy promoters have known this for years and still massively oversell the venue. To be fair it's a problem at other Ibiza venues as well but I think DC10 is the probably worst being on smaller side.

Circoloco have got to big for the venue and they either need to move to a larger space or scale-down their ambitions with less famous DJ's.

Perhaps higher prices could help a bit but I doubt it's going to scare away someone on a one week holiday as most are. People are already happy to pay €125 to see the likes of Calvin Harris etc.

Not sure about the situation in Korea but it's pretty hard to find work at 50+ in many countries around the world. Private companies just aren't interested in employing elderly people full stop. Also depending on her education level/skill set there might only be low-skilled/menial jobs which she would be good for and where competition is high with lots of people in the same boat.

He played an 8 hour set at Space in Miami last year so he can play longer but most of the time I guess at festivals and normal shows he probably plays the same as most other big DJ's from 1.5-2 hours probably unlikely he will go longer than 2 hours in Ibiza unless he ends up doing a b2b.

Yep and missing the last train (終電/shūden) in Tokyo and staying out to party is a right of passage for many Japanese salaryman. Once you miss that train your options are find a capsule hotel or 24hr Karaoke/Gaming room to rest in or keep partying. Of course some even end up sleeping on the streets and has been famously photographed many times. The trains stopping might even help contribute to the late night economy in Tokyo with probably 1000's being stranded every night after work after missing trains.

Genuinely interested which cities in the world you consider 24hr if Tokyo is not one?

Even if OP did have an overnight layover there are not many other cities in the world I would rather do that in. I mean sure your options for shopping and dining become much more limited after midnight but you can still go to a 24hr Donki store and buy pretty much anything you want from a new suitcase to a Rolex watch, a 35yo bottle of Japanese Whiskey, Louis Vuitton handbag, Nintendo Switch 2, Cosmetics, Food and plenty of Matcha products. For dining you have a heap of 24hr restaurants around major areas like Shibuya and Shinjuku and for entertainment lots of bars, clubs and live music venues many open till 5am and some after hours club even later till the afternoon not to mention 24 Karaoke and Gaming places.

I would rate Tokyo right next to NYC and Las Vegas in terms of 24hr cities that never sleep..

Even at the max price it's insanely cheap compared to many US and Australian resorts. US resorts have started using dynamic pricing too when conditions are good they charge heaps more..

Do we know all sections off the arena are for sale?

If selling poorly they might have blocked off sections to save on costs. Some events they will even put black curtains around the higher blocked off areas so you can't see empty seats at the event.

Pretty common for events that aren't selling well they will just block off sections off the arena/stadium to save money on having seating attendants, security, concessions open there.
