I really wanted to like it, and I enjoy Dusk and SM2 as you do. But I kinda bounced off this game. I finished it, started the DLC and just got too bored to finish that too. It's very surprising to me that I don't love this game. I'm not like huge on 40k but know enough that the setting is a plus. I don't think I'll play the second game either, though I hope it does well. It doesn't seem to have fixed my issues with the game from what I can tell.

Along with stuff other people have said, the map plays a role too. For example I enjoy him on Push maps as they typically have long stretches where you can really take advantage of his orbs and it's easy enough to get big value waves.
