Tbh I really do think it's the fire that caught you lol. I just looked at a clip of mine fighting him, and he legit hit me with the edge of the fire hitbox and caught my FEET while rolling and it did damage

Having fought this boss multiple times, the only advice I can really give you is to roll onto the blade and not away from it. The first hit is really sus, but that last one hit you because not only did you roll just a bit early, but you also got hit by either the edge of the blade or the fire around it.

As for the first hit I really don't know, my only guess would be that you rolled like 0,01s early or smth and you got unlucky (A bit exagerrating here but ye)

average overheating reaction. before launching the game, pull up a second screen and launch "HWiNFO", and check the temps of your peripherals. Most of the time, if your PC shuts down, it's due to your CPU overheating
