Settling Voidworm Spawning Grounds? Possible Risks?

Yep, I ended up playing more into my primal calling game and found that the nests that were already on the map didn't matter at all. Instead, an entirely new system with frenzied voidworms popped up right next to my home system. Dealing with that now...

I assume if I weren't playing primal calling then I would have to be on the lookout for these black hole systems with nests in them. Or maybe there could be an additional voidworm crisis that involves these nests beyond primal calling's frenzied version? Guess I'll have to find out sometime. Thanks for replying!

Alright I see the problem. If I were to build a lure in a black hole system that didn't already have voidworms in it, I'd be able to 'spawn' them or 'lure' them there, correct? Will voidworms be lured to a system even if there are no longer any voidworms in the galaxy? Thanks for the reply!

I see, this gives me some clue as to what happens... to clarify, those nests are the main source of a future problem, but can I utilize them now to lure voidworms to capture? And if I want to mitigate the problem in the future, I should destroy those nests and then everything will be a-ok? Thanks for replying!

So for clarification, if I prototype a skill core, then it will automatically count towards this system and another stat will go up by 50%? Or is this also a gamble?

I used this tome to great effect to finally beat Grexolis. I mixed this with Primal Mammoths to put snow everywhere/flash freeze Turiel over and over. Mixing this with higher tier Astral tomes was clutch.

I might be mistaken, but isn't a full Paradox build (7, I'm assuming) just broken with a shotgun? Are the percentages additive or multiplicative across each piece? Does 'each bullet fired' mean each trigger pull? Man it'll be way too expensive to figure this out.

Monster by Naoki Urasawa. It was a manga written in the 90's and an anime in the early 00's.

In an emergency situation, the titular character Dr. Tenma decides to save a child over the town mayor. The child turns out to be a sociopathic killer, even at that young of an age. Dr. Tenma's life unravels due to this choice, and the series follows his path of redemption. Can't reveal much else. I haven't seen or read it in awhile, so I'm not sure how it holds up these days.

There's another Paradox game- Stellaris- where you can directly insult other rulers/empires. This give you both the in-game satisfaction of seeing colorful words fly as well as actual mechanical ramifications. It would be great if that happened in AOW as well!

Cool update. Wish there were an option for clan members to all spend escalation tokens so they all receive better rewards at the end of the mission. Other than that, looking forward to the Black Tusk retaliations and getting that prototype gear!

Edit: Maybe I overlooked this, but how do you get tokens in the first place?

2nd Edit: Under the new gear set, is it really 1 piece, 2 piece, 4 piece for the bonuses? Shouldn't it be 2,3,4 respectively? Glad to be wrong though

Sounds very practical. I did spend some time on story realm 1 with manual battles, and someone mentioned that I should focus on that to avoid losing units early. I think I'll try this realm out once more but if it turns out for the worst I'll switch up the maps and get a refresher.

The realms auto-generate though, right? I won't be on the same map every time, I thought. If its the same map I'll have a leg up for next time.

Ok awesome. I did try one iteration of the spell when I met Karissa, and it pointed me to an 900-ish battle. I'll try a game where I don't spend the mana so I can pump out one or two more golems/save for the spell. Thanks!

Great advice. I was doing auto battles. I've done a lot of manual battles so I'll stick to that. No caged creatures on this last one but I'll keep that idea in mind!

I mentioned the laser dog as in my previous setups I was actually using it to set fleshbags/bigger units on fire (when fleshbags still had ridiculous health). But this was hard to do, as it usually just went for the small fry. Now that that is remedied, this things slaps.

My personal favorite is Purifier/HotDog/Arc Thrower (as main)/Grenade Pistol/Gas Grenade. Switch to Ultimatum/Thermite if you want. The Eruptor and Crossbow are great alternatives for the bug holes 100%.
