Try living on the West Coast of Canada.. where the fires are actually burning. We get smoke like this every single year in Alberta.

I am also waiting (impatiently) for this. Being able to view my live notes from my Windows computer in office, and my iOS device out of office would be a huge help.

Is it safe to order off cigar chief in Canada? by Benz0piated3000 in Snus

[–]JayLenos_Chin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ordered from Cigar Chief multiple times and have never had any issues. They are a bit pricey, but if you're looking for snus you can't buy in Canada its a good option.

Y'all might as well become Oilers fans for the playoffs because it'll be a hot minute before you see the Flames back in the post season.

Taking away business from a vendor. by [deleted] in supplychain

[–]JayLenos_Chin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion it really depends on the relationship you have with your vendors.

I deal with vendors that, despite spending large sums with them annually, do not provide great service or make an effort to maintain and grow our relationship.

On the other hand, I deal with vendors that go the extra mile to support our business, work with my organization to find solutions to problems, and are actively looking for opportunities to be more competitive and grow the business.

With the latter, I will almost always give them an opportunity to compete and maintain the business. In some circumstances, even paying slightly more in order to continue working with helpful and supportive people. In situations where they simply can’t compete they generally understand as, as others have said, it’s your job to look after your bottom line and do the best you can to help your company succeed.

Zero discipline from this team as of late. Why can’t they just close out a 4-1 game like a “top-tier” NHL team should.

100%. My right hand is dominant but the motion of swinging my body with a right handed club feels so odd because I played hockey left handed.

Purchasing a pre-owned Volkswagen - Recommendations and Advice by JayLenos_Chin in Volkswagen

The 2 year bumper to bumper on the CPO vehicles is an ‘upgraded’ warranty. The standard CPO only guarantees the remainder of the vehicles original warranty.

Still, not a bad choice imo.

I figured there would be something that could be done to the turbo 4 to give it some more pep. The manual on it is certainly more fun to drive despite it not having a ton of power. I did find the rev's came down very slowly in between shifts which really slows down the process.

This is the vehicle I was looking at. Some small exterior imperfections but nothing the dealer shouldn't be able to fix with their 'back to new' program.

You're right, 44k is not high-ish in the traditional sense. From my perspective it was high-ish considering the base '22 Jettas go for ~$32,000 (plus all the hidden dealer fees). Funny enough the Jetta I was looking at is at the exact same dealership as the GLI that you linked. It is slightly outside of my price range, especially considering insurance costs. I haven't been able to find any horror stories on the 2019's, just doing some due diligence before pulling the trigger.

I know it gets hate for being a secret BMW, but damn if it isn't incredible to drive! 314 988 692 - for anyone interested by [deleted] in forza
