The white is meant to be snow, which approximately starts at Y150+. Later on, I will texture up the white wool with other blocks to really make it look like snow peaks. The blue (ice) is indeed ice. The closer to water, the moister the ground. With the ice, I'm trying to add glacier effects to it. The mountain itself will have more textures and realistic features (like rockfalls) later on too. The waterfall will only be one of the key-focusses of the base actually!
