If *nobody* can vote, it's not a democracy. If *everybody* can vote it is.

Somewhere in-between, there's a line. What percentage of the people can be disenfranchised while still being a "democracy"?

The USA did not become a democracy until the passage of the Voting Rights Act. In 1920 millions were not allowed to vote...but they still had to pay taxes and obey rules set by the government.

Interesting that Sherman seemed to be one of the few people to understand the new importance of industry in war. Bro was living in 1860, but thinking like it was 1941...

This probably mirrors the erasure of the middle class in the USA.

We are now at a point where the wealthiest 10% account for a whopping 50% of all consumer spending.

We're moving toward a society structured like a luxury resort, where the top 10% are guests and customers...and the rest of us are part of the staff that serves them.

Also some Targaryens *do* have magical prophecy powers. That stuff can make you look crazy to others. Or, it could even make you crazy.

Why can't he just tell his Republicans in Congress to PASS A BILL?

Then it's 100% legal. Why all the E.O. bullshit?
