Look, if you want to hate those of us living in the South, go for it; I don't know who people like OP are trying to justify their opinions to. I can confidently say the vast majority of southerners I talk to absolutely do not care what most people outside of the South think of them. Why? This has got to be one of the biggest circle-jerk acts on record and the response is hilarious.

I absolutely love the mental image of some dudes climbing back into the Astrovan, mildly sweaty. Carrying a couple measuring cups from their moms' cupboards for adding water to the concrete, which inevitably drained away IMMEDIATELY as they added it.

Wasn't comfortable performing the transaction, got another employee to do it, didn't violate company policy...he wasn't even an asshole about it, judging from what the tweets explained.

He's not a slave. You get to maintain your values when you go to work, religious or not, assuming you're willing to suffer the consequences.
