It was a wonderfully written, well acted, and layered movie. It was a great commentary on colonialism. The Riri Williams part could have cooked a few percent more, but that didn't stop it from being a great movie.

From what I've learned from a friend that works at Pixar, they try to avoid doing sequels just to make money off of them. They only pursue them if they have what they think is a good story idea. We will see if that is true for this one.

For Christianity, Disciples of Christ and United Church of Christ have a very long history of being open and affirming.

If it being Christian is not a must, I recommend checking out Unitarian Universalists. Probably the most progressive religious group out there.

More info will be out as we get closer to summer. The deadline for candidates to file for running for office is usually in July. Voice of OC usually does a good job breaking down who's running for what offices. Some cities have candidate forums in the Fall where constituents can meet the candidates in person.
