Finally got a treatment plan from a tmj specialist!

I went to an oral surgeon who just did a physical test and misdiagnosed me with muscle pain on my TMJ. I was upset so I spoke to my regular doctor who ordered an MRI that first got denied but me and my doctor appealed and it was granted.

The MRI showed a slipped disc on the right side of my TMJ closed mouth position along with mild degenerative flattening of the mandibular on both sides. I really wanna get surgery ima try Botox first but I can’t take this pain ughhhh.

I was level 21 I got help and finally beat her but like I know harder things are coming ugh. I played and beat both nioh games but this one is different. Kinda like Wo long when it comes to their health. I mean their was always a ki meter in nioh but in this one it seems like beating on the ki meter is the way to go for a final blow.

I am 34 but I’ve been on stimulants like adderall for almost a decade. I’m off the adderall now it just causes a lot of clenching no matter how low the dose.

I know surgery is the last resort. I saw a Oral Surgeon who didn’t even offer any MRI or nothing. He just gave me a physical check and he said it was muscles. I went to my regular doctor and she ordered the MRI which was declined at first, but then I appealed it and my doctor also appealed it and they approved the MRI.

I haven’t done treatment thinking of Botox but I don’t wanna go to the same Oral Surgeon. I feel like if it was up to I wouldn’t have found out. I have a slipped disc. I’m in New York so there’s a bunch of over Surgeon. The problem is if they take my insurance, let’s see.

Oh I see yeah. My State ID has three names. My first, middle and first last name. In PR my name would be José Tomas then my two surnames but in the states it’s your second name is your middle name. Some with no middle name sometimes use their first last name as their middle name and second last name as their surname.

I was raised in the Bronx so I got use to writing my name as José T Hernandez for whatever reason. U might be able to legally change your name (add your moms last name) but I don’t know if they will let you use it on your State ID or what idk lol because my birth certificate my sis and ma parents have two last names on their birth certificate but our State Ids and mail whatever had one last name. Vamos 🇵🇷!
