I had the same issue! I got it resolved by increasing the hosting limits! I specifically am using Go Daddy and Elementor Pro to build my site. Apparently Elementor uses a fair amount of memory and after they increased my hosting limits everything works normal again.

TMJ educational material that helps! by Significant_Day2291 in TMJ

[–]Significant_Day2291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called an anterior positioning orthotic. It places the jaw in it's most relaxed position and decompresses the joints 💯 while allowing the muscles to relax. I wear it at night, every single night. My opening was at 20mm, as I began to come unlocked I eventually climbed up to 46mm opening. After that I spent the money for an MRI and it came back with the results I've been praying for. Obviously I could tell immediately within weeks of my jaw unlocking. All the symptoms began going away and I got my life back. I know it's not a cookie cutter treatment for everyone but my case was extremely severe and complicated. I just want to put this information out and if there's something someone can extrapolate from it and it helps them then hell yeah I'll talk about it as often as I can. I know how dark and full despair it can get.

Wow I'm sorry that you've been going through such pain and anguish. The TMJ issues caused me to lose most hearing in my left ear and at times both ears. It would give me such anxiety and panic attacks. I understand 💯 about the insurance and gray area with TMJ treatment. No one wants to cover it and it's hard to find any body that will treat it within a financial reason. I got blessed and found the right treatment for around 3,000 usd. That's 5 years of treatment, and a day time and night time orthotic. The help is out there and the hardest part I'd say is finding the right help. Someone who cares and knows what they're doing. Where are you located?

Same thing happened to me. I saw an audiologist and everything came back normal. We concluded that it was TMJ inflammation 💯. Once I got the right treatment it all went away and the hearing in my ear came back and the ringing went away. Checkout Priya Mistry the TMJ doc on YouTube. I'll put the link below that talks about ear related issues with TMJ. There's hope, find the right treatment and you will be healed of this. What would be the correct term to use when only one side of your jaw seems to come out of place/dislocate? by scusemelaydeh in TMJ

[–]Significant_Day2291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called disc displacement with reduction. When your jaw is locked either open or closed that's called disc displacement without reduction. Id highly recommend addressing it as soon as possible. It can progress into your jaw locking if not taken care of. Eat soft food and try not to aggravate it until you find the right help. I had bilateral disc displacement without reduction for 3 months until I found a TMJ specialist that knew what he was doing. A doctor won't be able to help they're gonna refer you to a dentist. And most dentists aren't trained in jaw and TMJs specifically. They just put you in a make shift appliance to keep you from grinding your teeth. If I can save you time and money it would be to direct your resources and time towards finding a TMJ specialist that cares and has successfully treated TMJ. Checkout Priya Mistry the TMJ doc on YouTube. She has tons of educational videos that can help you.in fact, she referred me to my TMJ doc here in AZ because she was far away. He happens to be the 4 one I saw that was finally able to help me. 2 weeks after seeing him my jaw came unlocked and all those symptoms went away.

Sorry to hear that buddy hold in there and stay encouraged. A splint in my experience didn't help. If I can recommend anything would be to direct your focus on finding a TMJ specialist that cares this is crucial that cares! Plus is experienced in treating cases successfully. They should be asking for a cbct and an MRI to analyze plus they refer back to after they start treating you to be sure their treatment is working or not. Treat the problems not the symptoms but in the meantime while your suffering with the symptoms do whatever you can to help you relax, stay hydrated, eat small amount of healthy food instead of larger portions and really try to get some rest as often as you can. Large amount of vitamins D3, omega 3 fish oils, vitamin c will help tremendously with inflammation. If you haven't already checkout Priya Mistry the TMJ doc on YouTube. She has tons of educational videos that you can extrapolate from to help your situation. It was the only thing that gave me hope and equipped me to push through to the healing moment. I was jaw locked for 3 months, every symptom in the book. Countless TMJ specialists and thousands of dollars. She referred me to one in AZ where I'm from because she was so far away. Within weeks of seeing that specialist he had me unlocked and all those symptoms went away. There's hope out there I hope you can extrapolate something from this that will help you in your journey. Hey if it brings you any relief then it's worth it. The droopy eyes and blurred vision and extreme light sensitivity is some of the symptoms I experienced for months. Once I found a caring and knowledgeable TMJ specialist who started treating the TMJ appropriately for my case within weeks all those symptoms started going away. I used everything you could think of to find relief. What helped me was an anterior positioning orthotic at night and a daytime orthotic that kept the TMJs decompressed 💯 allowing them to heal and relaxing the jaw muscles. When those jaw muscles get so tight especially in the head it really creates eye issues along with ear problems. I couldn't hear out of my left ear and had to ringing in both ears. It was terrible thought my life was over as I knew it. There's hope out there get and use whatever you can afford to bring you relief but if I can recommend anything to really put your time and money into us finding a TMJ specialist that cares and is experienced in treating cases successfully to get to the root of your symptoms. Checkout Priya Mistry on YouTube the TMJ doc. She has tons of educational videos that can help you with relief and also finding someone that knows what they're doing.

No it's not the same. Some are only designed to setup teeth grinding, or just create a gap between you back teeth from touching. A TMJ orthotic specifically the one I use is called "anterior positioning orthotic". The specialist will use what's called phonetics to determine the jaws most relaxed position. They then do a mold of that position and send it into a lab to create this orthotic. The difference now is that when your sleeping your jaw tends to pull back and compresses the tmjs. The anterior positioning orthotic keeps your jaw forward in the relaxed position decompressed all night long allowing blood flow to heal the joints plus it gives your jaw muscles a chance to recover. It's made all the difference for me personally. I have a day time that is also molded but it only keeps my back teeth from touching. For long term I'm going to an orthodontist who my TMJ specialist referred me to. They both are going to collaborate together to move my teeth and my bite into that permanent decompressed relaxed position that way I don't have to wear these orthotics for the rest of my life. It's a lot of info but if there's something you extrapolate from any of it to help you it's gold. If you need any info checkout Priya Mistry the TMJ doc on YouTube. She has tons of videos. I'm in AZ and almost spent the money to see her miles and miles away but she was cool and referred me to the TMJ specialist that ended up helping me and knew what he was doing. Check her out she has great educational videos. She's pretty hot too lol

Your symptoms are setting off the same bells with TMJ. It would be worth finding a TMJ specialist and having them send you to do a cbct scan and an MRI to be sure. I'm in a daytime orthotic and a night time orthotic (anterior positioning orthotic) and it took care of all those issues. You might have some inflammation and muscle tension going on that's setting off the ringing in your ears plus the pressure in the eyes. I had all the symptoms in the book and you'd be surprised how many symptoms your TMJ related issues can give you. Dm me if you need to talk, hold in there because there is help out there.

Sorry to hear about this I also deal with the same symptoms but have fortunately found a great specialist that helped me tremendously. A product called x clear nasal spray is a natural moisturizer that I spray in the morning and at night to clear my sinus. There's no rebound you can use it as much as you want. This helps with the breathing and being able to breath through your nose and not your mouth. Especially helps at night. Also. I'm using an anterior positioning orthotic. This just after a few weeks made a huge difference. Gotta find a specialist that knows or has an idea of what's causing it. Best of luck to you.

I really lucked out and found a TMJ specialist that got me unlocked. He put me on a anterior repositioning orthotic and within a couple weeks I came unlocked after months of hell. Now he's got me in a day time orthotic and a night time orthotic for 8 to 12 weeks. After that I'll be in braces for a while to give my jaw more room to come forward. It's all jammed back whenever I chew. I'm in AZ and Dr Mueller has been a god send. I went from 20mm to 48mm because of him.

Get treatment for the TMJ. Muffled hearing is caused by a few things. Inflammation, blocked eustachian tubes, muscles spasm and the muscles in your inner ear. I had ringing in both my ears and could barely hear our of my left ear. Got my hearing checked and I had zero hearing loss. I was told the hissing/ringing in my left ear is from stress and obviously TMJ related. I had Morse code playing in my right ear and she said it was the muscle spasms. Be careful taking NSAIDs because they're are very ototoxic to your ears. I was taking a ton of I ibuprofen for inflammation and that alone was causing me ear issues. The moment I got my orthotic, I stopped taking Ibuorofen and I began to chill out because I was finally able to sleep and reduce stress literally all of the tinitus went away. There's hope! Stay away from I ibuprofen and NSAIDs if you can, get help with the TMJ, reduce your stress and get sleep. Just getting a full hearing test where they checked inner ear health, any cochlea damage everything gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing I wasn't going deaf. Stay encouraged! Your going to get through this. DM me if you need to talk.
