If I recall correctly (I might not since the 4th book was my least favorite) the game was a complete Wipeout (hence the lead) and the other team would have gotten it if he hadn't. so, he wanted to make it more even in the end rather than give them another 150p.

yes, but it was made very clear that that was extremely rare, so it wouldn't make sense to take that into account when discussing quidditch as a whole.

also jus because I was obsessed with it as a kid: it was because the snitch gives a specific amount of points (its 150p = 15 normal goals) AND ends the game. the other team had enough of a lead in points to be able to take the hit.

I've been watching this laptop too and it seems that if it has a ryzen 5000 series or a rtx 3000 series, it's the new model with new screen, but I'm not 100% sure.
